Attach elastic band Get started Prepare plastic sheets Test elastic band • TUG FIRMLY on both knots to make sure the band is secure • TRIM off excess elastic • Ensure all materials are sanitized after use Replace band as needed Attach elastic band to Head Frame • Pull elastic loop around CLEATS on both ends of head frame • ENSURE elastic is not twisted between the cleats 5 Punch holes • FEED the 11 inch side into hole punch • PUSH down on top of hole punch firmly • Check to ensure edges are clean and straight 7 Gather supplies 3D Printed Head Frame Elastic Band 13” - 14“ in length 2x 8.5” x 11” Rigid Clear Plastic Sheets ex. Prepare elastic band Measure elastic band • CUT elastic 13 - 14 inches in length 2 Tie Overhand Loops on each end • CREATE LOOP A at the end of elastic • FEED LOOP B through back of LOOP A • HOLD end of LOOP A and PULL ON LOOP B to tighten 3 Check length • MEASURE 9”-10” from each loop 4 PREPARE - PAGE 1 13”-14” LOOP B LOOP A 9”-10” Create Top Shield • MEASURE, MARK & CUT three 3” strips For more precision, use a craft knife or a cutting board. Punch holes in remaining strips for two more face shields! 8 3 INCHES
