processes for printing a three-dimensional objects 。

A 3D Printing is a type of industrial robot.

The economists have declared that 3D Printing is changing the world.

Last year, Amazon began to sell their own 3-D printers, and this year, Amazon has introduced a marketplace for 3-D printed objects.

History

Industrial 3D printers have existed since the early 1980s.

The first working 3D printer was created in 1984 by Charles .Hull.

3D printing in the early days was vary expensive and not feasible for the general market.

1990s 1992, Building parts.

Although, it is imperfect. The machine proves that highly complex parts can be manufactured overnight.

1999,

The technology,3D printing, developed by scientists at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. They are working on printing organs. Objects are made with a patient's own cells, there is little to no risk of rejection.

2000s

2002. Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine was developing the 3D technology, they ‘print’ working organs.

2010s 2011, Engineers at the University of Southamption design and fly the world’s first 3-D printed aircraft in 7 days for a budget of $5,000.

2011, First 3-D printer car in Canada.

2011, 3D printing service let 14K gold and silver as materials.

2012, Doctors and engineers in the Netherlands use 3D printer to print a 3-D printed Jaw for a 83- year od woman.

Apparel

3D printing has spread into the fashion world. 3D printed bikini, shoes, and dresses.

New Balance:3D manufacturing custom-fit shoes for athletes.

Construction

Using 3D printing to build houses.

Benefits: faster construction for lower costs, and has been investigated for construction of off-Earth habitats.
