Background / Objectives
The TSSD team has been asked to make available an online survey or
questionnaire so that potential stakeholders (MN user agencies and
actual applicant users) can respond to questions, make comments and
offer suggestions as it relates to where TSSD establishes their
network of public fingerprinting locations throughout the
state.
TSSD will be displaying the document and questionnaire from their
public facing web page and simply needed the CCMI team to provide
the document functionality that will allow the user to respond and
send back to a specified email.

Provider: Additional Comments
“Due to volume, it would be helpful to allow a site in La Crescent,
MN near interstate 90 as our employees that work in certain
specialty areas may need to travel from Sparta, WI to be
fingerprinted to satisfy the new MN requirement. We are a WI
employer that services the southeastern corner of MN.”
“Employees should be able to go to the local government offices or
county DHS offices for fingerprinting. As long as there is not a
huge waiting time to get processed.”
“I am not sure if my clients would like being fingerprinted. They
would feel this is a invasion of there privacy and I am receive
some resistance. The clients I care for are mainly Dual Diagnosis
and usually they try to challenge new laws or changes.”
“I don't see a location within Morrison County. We have 3 nursing
homes alone in Morrison County on top of multiple Assisted livings,
Homecare agencies, schools, etc. Our staff (nursing home) live
paycheck to paycheck therefore to drive 40-50 miles can be a
deterent in getting staff in the door please consider a location in
Morrison County. Thank you.”
“On site training would be best for our company.”
“We also have branch locations at Austin, La Crescent, Mankato, New
Prague, Owatonna, Worthington with the zip codes of
55912,55947,56003,56071,55060,56187 respectively. Hours could be
accommodated per location.

International Quality Homecare Corporation
Rochester, MN 55901 (507)252-8117”
“We have an accessible building, ample parking, and central
location in the Twin Cities”
“We would want to know the cost of the equipment before going
forward.”
“What would be the cost of equipment if we are doing this service
for enrolled students only?
“Will this training session be available by webinar?”

Provider: Additional Comments
“Because of our location, the nearest fingerprinting facility
according to the map would be in Bemidji, which is a 45 minute
drive. Many of our staff are low income and driving that distance
would be a barrier to them for employment.”
“Can some one get back on
[email protected] for more
information”
“Concerned about the people who don't own vehicles and getting to a
close fingerprinting site.”
“Please make sure some sites are on the bus line.”
“This was really interesting survey.”
“Why not have it done at DMV locations (where you can get your
license tabs etc.”
“Worthington is the largest town in Nobles and Rock counties in SW
Minnesota. We would suggest that a fingerprinting station be put in
Worthington.”
“I work for Health & Human Services for a County in the
licensing unit and it would be nice to have more "mobile"
fingerprinting sites. Right now, licensors who have been trained
are able to do finger printing themselves. It would be nice to be
able to offer this service with 2.0 and develop a way for
individuals to be trained so those "in the field" could go directly
to the people who need to be finger printed.”
“What will be the reimbursement rate per fingerprinting
subject?”

“Bemidji is centrally located for many smaller communities in our
area and has businesses, schools, library, or other infrastructure
support needed for supplying the fingerprinting process.”
“How will the person getting fingerprinted know that the prints
that are being done will be clean prints? I had this done at a
previous job for the US Census and it was a hassle.”
“I think Bemidji would be a great place for a fingerprints set up.
There is a lot of communities around Bemidji that would come and
get their finger printed.”
“I would not want to drive anywhere to have this done”
“I would really appreciate this because I need this for college and
don't have the money or time to drive to get this done.”
“I'd go on weekends too if I had to.”
“I'm happy to see more than 8-9 fingerprinting locations are being
considered, this state it too large and the volume varies so much
that it would leave some locations very inconvenienced. Also,
Wisconsin employers need to request MN Background studies.”
