Major Scientific Sessions

• You will be given about 5-7 minutes to present your poster including questions and answers. Judges may pose questions during the evaluation of the poster

• Judges will even evaluate the student’s enthusiasm towards their study, interest and knowledge in the area of their research

• The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference. The decision of the winner will be withdrawn if the winner/winners is/are not present at the time of announcement

• Apart from the judging time you may also be present at the poster to share your research with interested delegates

• Present your research through oral presentations • Learn about career development and the latest

research tools and technologies in your field • This forum will give pertinent and timely

information to those who conduct research and those who use and benefit from research

• Develop a foundation for collaboration among young researchers

• The forum will provide an opportunity for collegial interaction with other young investigators and established senior investigators across the globe

• Interact and share ideas with both peers and mentors

Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland. Dublin is in the province of Leinster on Ireland’s east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey and bordered to the South by the Wicklow Mountains. The city has an urban area population of 1,173,179. The population of the Greater Dublin Area, as of 2016, was 1,904,806 people. It is a leading global city, with strengths in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism, and transport all contributing to its prominence. Other famous landmarks include Trinity College and College Green, Grafton Street, St. Stephens Green, The Little Museum of Dublin, Kildare Street Museums and Houses of Parliament, The National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square, The James Joyce Centre, National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History (Collins Barracks), Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo, Kilmainham Gaol, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty Library.

Climate:

In Dublin, the climate is warm and temperate. Dublin is a city with a significant rainfall. Even in the driest month there is a lot of rain. This climate is considered to be Cfb according to the Köppen-Geiger climate classification. In Dublin, the average annual temperature is 11.2 °C. In a year, the average rainfall is 966 mm.

Entertainment:

Dublin has a vibrant nightlife and is reputedly one of Europe’s most youthful cities. There are many pubs across the city centre, with the area around St. Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street, especially Harcourt Street, Camden Street, Wexford Street and Leeson Street, the location of many nightclubs and pubs. The best known area for nightlife is Temple Bar, south of the River Liffey. Dublin city centre is a popular shopping destination for both locals and tourists. The city has numerous shopping districts, particularly around Grafton Street and Henry Street. The city centre is also the location of large department stores, including Arnotts, Brown Thomas and (prior to its 2015 closure) Clerys.
