PurPoseMultiple sclerosis is the second leading cause of disability in young adults 20-50 years old. It is one of the most complex diseases in neurology that requires a comprehensive approach. In addition, it will provide tools to diagnose and treat other diseases that can mimic multiple sclerosis including demyelinating disease of the central nervous system which can also occur in children. This symposium will address diagnosis and management of pediatric multiple sclerosis and mimickers such as neuromyelitis optica syndrome.
