How to Access the Rebate Submission Queue The Rebate Submission Queue resides within Empower, which can be accessed via Solutions Central at: http://solutionscentral.ussco.com/ Click on the Empower link, which appears under the “applications” link. Within Empower, click on the Rebate Submission link.

To review recent rebate submissions thru the Submission Queue. To view expiring 3 Party contracts.

The recent submissions from the last 30 days sent thru the Rebate Submission Queue can be viewed on this page. In addition, 3 Party contracts expiring in the next 90 days can be viewed on this page.

Submit A Rebate

To submit a request for a 3 Party contract rebate.

After completion of sale to your end user, you can submit for a rebate for the difference between your invoice price and contract price thru this link.

Submission History

To view details of rebate submissions.

This link is used to pull details at a line level including the rebate submission by item, invoice price, quantity, invoice number, end user.

Contract To research 3 Party contracts

This option provides access to both active and expired 3 Party contracts. Searches can be narrowed or expanded by date ranges.

Dashboard Section: Under “Rebate Submission Dashboard”, select the “Dashboard” option.

The following information can be found in the Dashboard screen: Recent Submissions: Date Submitted: The date that the rebate request was submitted Submission ID: Unique identification of the submission Lines: The number of lines in the submission Customers: The number of your distinct end users on the submission Unique Items: The number of items that were sent on the submission (Note - if there are two

lines with the same item, this would only be counted as one unique item.) Requested: The total rebate requested on the submission Approved: The total amount approved from the submission Status: The overall status of the request Expiring Contracts: Contract ID: Identification number of Contract End Consumer: End consumer making the purchase Item: Essendant item Vendor: Vendor of the item Start Date: Start date of Contract End Date: End date of Contract

Submit A Rebate: Under the Dashboard dropdown on the top of the screen, select the “Submit a Rebate” option.

There are two options on this screen.

1. Download Template: This allows the user to download the rebate template. This is the first step of putting together a 3 Party contract rebate.

2. Upload Submission: This allows the user to request a 3 Party contract rebate.

Download Template:

This template requires data in the following columns: Contract#: The vendor assigned contract number End User Name: The purchaser of the items to be rebated End User Address1: The address of the end user End User City: The city of the end user End User State: The state of the end user End User Zip: The zip code of the end user ESND Item Number: The Essendant item number End User Invoice Number: Your invoice number to your end user End User Invoice Date: Your invoice date to your end user Your Invoice Price: The price you paid Essendant Your Contract Price: The 3 Party contract price you were approved to receive from Essendant Your Qty: The quantity of the item to be rebated Essendant UOM: The Essendant UOM for the item

Note: There can be no blank columns and the tab name of cannot be changed.

Essendant Unit of Measure Codes

Code Unit Code Description

Definition

BD BUNDLE A bundle is a collection of things or quantity of material tied or wrapped up together

BX BOX A box is repackaged within a carton to be shipped (inner packaging)

CT CARTON A carton is a shippable container (master package)

DR DRUM A cylindrical container used for shipping bulk cargo

DS DISPLAY Product sold to be used for display purposes

DZ DOZEN A combination of like items with like characteristics, quantity 12

EA EACH Single items, lowest level

FT FOOT Item is measured per foot

HU HUNDRED Items that are in a quantity of 100s

KT KIT A package of many different parts, to make up a kit. For example, air freshener plug packaged with fragrance

LB POUND Item is measured per pound (i.e., one pound of rubber bands)

PD PAD Pads with paper adhered by glue or headstrip at one end

PK PACK A combination of like items with like characteristics, not of quantity 12

PL PALLET A pallet is a flat transport structure, which supports goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by a forklift

PR PAIR Package contains two items that are opposites (i.e., gloves - left hand and right hand)

RL ROLL Roll overrides Box if item is packaged as a roll

RM REAM Packages of paper that are packed as 500 sheets.

SH SHEET Paper at its lowest level

ST SET A combination of like items with different characteristics (i.e., color)

TH THOUSAND Items that are in a quantity of 1000s

Upload Submission: After filling out the upload template, upload the request to the Essendant Contracts department.

1.) Click the “Browse” button.

2.) Find the upload template file previously saved to your computer.

3.) Select the file, and click the “Upload Submission” button.

4.) If you are ok with sending the file, please hit the “ok” in the pop up box.

4a.) If you see a error message, please check your upload template.

4b.) At the bottom of your screen, you will see a copy of your upload template.

4c.) Within the upload template, highlighted in yellow will be the data that is causing the error.

Please review and resubmit once the data has been revised.

5.) You will then see a confirmation screen with a summary of your submission.

6.) You will also receive a confirmation email with the submission id.

7.) Upon completion of the rebate request by the Contracts department, you will receive a email

informing you that the submission is complete.

Submission History Screen:

The submission history screen allows the user to review past submissions based on:

Requested: The requested rebate amount Approved: The amount that has been approved Status: The status of the request: approved, pending

Export Submission History: An Excel version of a user’s submission history will be downloaded.

Rebate Submission Detail: The Rebate submission detail screen allows a user to get more detailed information on their submission. In addition, the user can see comments from the contracts team in regard to their submission.

Customer: The end user of the product # of Lines: The number of lines that were uploaded Lines Accepted: The number of lines in the upload file that had the rebate approved Lines Rejected: The number of lines in the upload file that were rejected Total Requested: The total rebate amount you have requested. Total Approved: The total rebate amount that has been approved Comments: This area relays any comments from the Essendant Contracts team to you.

Contracts Screen:

The Contracts screen allows a user to search all 3 Party contracts, including all active, inactive and expired contracts.

Searches by the following fields are allowed: Start Date: End Date: Contract Status:

Expired contract: The contract is currently expired. Active contract: The contract is active. Not Active: The contract has not begun yet. Will start at a future date.

• After selecting an option press the “Apply“ button.

• To clear a previous search, press the “Clear” button.
