College of Europe
The College of Europe is the most genuinely ‘European’ of all the university institutes of European studies: it attracts a highly qualified pan-European faculty and welcomes students from across the entire continent and further afield; it enjoys a truly European atmosphere on its Bruges and Natolin (Warsaw) campuses, and it can rely on its unique network of personal and institutional relationships developed, throughout Europe and beyond, over the past 61 years. As the careers of many of its alumni illustrate, the College degree opens up rewarding professional prospects in Europe and at the international level.
The postgraduate programmes offered at the Bruges campus include a Master of Arts in European Political and Administrative Studies, a Master of Arts in European Economic Studies, a Master of Arts in EU International Relations and Diplomacy, and a Master of European Law. The Natolin campus grants a Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary studies.

UACES Upcoming
UACES will be holding a 2-day conference in London in 2011, to reflect upon the impact of the Lisbon Treaty in key areas of
institutional, political, economic and legal integration. Using funds competitively won from the European Commission’s
Lifelong Learning Programme, the conference will consist of Plenary Sessions involving leading political figures in
the EU, and Panel Sessions consisting of internationally renowned scholars of European integration, as well as ‘new
generation’ scholars.
As with all UACES events, the aim is to increase academic knowledge, greater cross-actor interaction and multi-
disciplinarity. This specific event will also promote cross-society contact in its public debate of the Lisbon Treaty, adding to general and specialised knowledge on EU integration.

Bruges 2010 Exchanging Ideas on Europe14
UACES Collaborative Research NetworksUACES’ core function is to promote the exchange of ideas on Europe. In addition to our existing publications, conferences, workshops and other activities, we wish to invite proposals from the UACES membership to establish collaborative research networks (CRNs). Successful networks will receive up to £5,000 over a three year period.
If you are interested in setting up a network, or becoming involved in one, there is an information session during the conference on:
Monday 6 September 15:15 to 16:00 (during the coffee break) Verversdijk, Building A, Auditoria 1.
The deadline for the next round of applications is Monday 8 February 2011.
