2013 Theme2013 ThemeThe Church, if it has discerned what God is doing, would readily
agree that it is no longer business as usual; God is doing a new
thing. Therefore, theres no room or tolerance for being content
with the status quo. God is anxiously waiting for His people to
embrace Next Level Ministry by embracing the total truth of
His Word through pure obedience.

Suggested 11 Minute Prayer: 1 minute per petition. If you can do more or less than 11 minutes
thats great; as long as everyone does something. EVERY PRAYER COUNTS!

THE 11 PETITIONS OF PRAYERPurposeThe purpose of this consecration is for the Church Of God In Christ to petition the Throne of Gracefor revival and renewal of Pentecostal power. The aim is for all of the saints to experience the powerof Jesus Christ and to continue to pursue His mission and His righteousnessBaptism of the Holy GhostFather, Your Word says in John 7:38, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of hisbelly shall flow rivers of living water." We ask that you would fill all that believe, with the Baptism ofthe Holy Ghost and fire, according to Acts 2:4; so that we are anointed with Pentecostal power towitness to the lost. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Refilling of the Holy GhostFather, your Word says that, after Pentecost, your people received a refilling of the Holy Ghost. Weask you to refill, revive and rejuvenate your saints, with the power of the Holy Ghost, according toActs 4:31, so that we may boldly proclaim Your Word, "And when they had prayed, the place wasshaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they
spake the word of God with boldness." In Jesus' name, Amen.MiraclesFather, Your Son Jesus has commissioned the Church to take the Gospel to the world (Matthew 28:19;Mark 16:15). As we pursue Your mission, according to Mark 16:20, we ask and we believe that you willconfirm the Word we preach with miracles, "And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lordworking with them, and confirming the word with signs following." In Jesus' name, Amen.
Fruit of the SpiritFather, as we pursue Your righteousness, we ask that you would not only empower us with the HolyGhost; but that You would also help us to yield our lives to the Holy host. We confess that the fruitof the Spirit is evident in the lives of every member of the Church Of God In Christ, according toGalatians 5:22-23, " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." In Jesus' name, Amen.
Gifts of the SpiritFather, as we pursue Your mission, our confession is that all the gifts of the Spirit are in operation inthe Church Of God In Christ (Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-10; 28-30; Ephesians 4:8-11). Wefurthermore confess that all of the gifts function decently and in order, are for the edification of thebody and that no flesh will glory in Your presence (1 Corinthians 1:29; 14:40; Ephesians 4:12). InJesus' name, Amen.

LoveFather, in teaching on the gifts of the Spirit, the Apostle Paul said in1 Corinthians 12:31, "Butcovet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way." We ask that youwould help us, as Your saints, to exemplify that "more excellent way" of love. Our confession is
that every member of the Church Of God In Christ has all the characteristics of 1 Corinthians13:4-7. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Church LeadersFather, Your Word says in John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy host, whom theFather will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." We confess that our Presiding Bishop, GeneralBoard and the entire leadership team of the Church Of God In Christ always has the aid andassistance of the Holy Ghost in every matter of business of the Church.
MissionsFather, You have empowered us to reach the world. Your Son, Jesus, commissioned us in
Matthew 28:19 to, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of theFather, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." We confess that every member of the Church OfGod In Christ has a passion for Missions. We confess that our commitment to reach the nationshas dramatically increased. In Jesus' name, Amen.
The Inner CityFather, we confess that as we are empowered to reach the urban areas of our nation, with theGospel and effective programs, that there will be "great joy" in our cities, according to Acts 8:8.We confess that the saints have "turned the world upside down" with the Gospel (Acts 17:6) andthat we repair the breach and restore paths to dwell in Isaiah 58:12).In Jesus' name, Amen.
PrayerFather, as we focus on our walk with You, we ask that you would stir the "prayer lives" of thesaints. Help us to renew our commitment to fervent and consistent prayer and fasting. Weconfess that the Holy Ghost empowers our prayer lives, according to Romans 8:26, Likewise theSpirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but theSpirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." In Jesus' name,Amen.
HolinessFather, as we pursue Your righteousness, we confess that every member of the Church Of God InChrist renews our commitment to holy living and the message of holiness (Hebrews 12:14). Ourconfession is that we are cleansed from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit and that we perfectholiness in the fear of God, according to 2 Corinthians 7:1. In Jesus' name. Amen.
