    Greenfields, Indonesia

    Description: Dairy Farm

    Heat Generation: 4MWth

    Start date: 2014

    Project investment: $2.5m

Project under construction will take waste water from an

integrated dairy farm and dairy processing facility. Farm

has in excess of 8,000 cattle with further expansion

planned. Gas will be used for process heat in the dairy

    processing facility.

    Rokan Hulu, Indonesia

    Description: POME Waste To Electricity

    Electricity Generation: 1 MW

    Start date: 2013

    Total Project cost: $ 3 m

Project under construction will take waste water from an

Palm Oil Mill ( POME ). Gas will be used for converting into

electricity for around 500 Villager, that currently is using

    diesel genset.

    Upgrading of biogas to bio-CNG

    Biogas composition:

    60 % CH4

    40 % CO2 Saturated with water

Trace amounts of contaminants (H2S, NH3, volatiles)

    Through biogas upgrading:

    CO2 removed

    Contaminants and water removed

    CH4 content increased to 9099 % = biomethane

    Biomethane (9099 % CH4):

    Compressed to 250 bar

Used in CNG/NGV vehicles Mixed with CNG

    Injected in NG grid

Condensed to liquid (LBG) and mixed with LNG

    Upgrading of biogas to bio-CNG

    Several technologies available:

PSA, Water scrubbing, Chemical scrubbing, Membrane

Asia Biogas has partnered with two technology partners:

    Chemical scrubbing

    Highest capture rate/yield (>99.9 %)

Biomethane of highest quality (>99 %)

Lowest power consumption if waste heat available

    Membrane upgrading

    Passive system

Few moving parts except gas compressor
