The Minnesota 4- H Camping program develops leadership and responsibility skills for teen counselors, while providing a safe and fun opportunity for the campers through activities, which allow them to gain knowledge and develop social skills while meeting new friends. 4-H staff and high-school aged camp counselors are prepared and ready to deliver an exciting and safe camp for you! You don’t want to miss 4-H Regional Camp this summer!!! Who: Youth in grades 3-5 & 6-8 – Camp is open to all youth, so invite your friends to join in the fun! When: June 24-26, 2019 (Monday-Wednesday) – Grades 6-8 June 26-28, 2019 (Wednesday-Friday) – Grades 3-5 ** Families may enroll their 5 th Grade Youth in the 6-8 Th Grade Camp –please see registration form. Where: Whitewater State Park, between St. Charles and Elba on Highway 74 at the Modern Group Camp Cost: $80/ Camper (Early-Bird Rate by May 1) (postmarked date) $100/ Camper (after May 1 and before June 1) (postmarked date) Registration fee includes meals and lodging for three days/two nights, educational sessions, supplies, camp water bottle, and a camp t-shirt. Registration fees are non-refundable. Space is limited, so register ASAP!!! Please request any accommodations for disabilities or special needs by May 15. Cast Iron Creations: Come experience our fireside cooking adventure through fun recipes and outdoor cooking techniques. Shedding New Light on Snakes: Youth will learn about the 16 types of slithering snakes in SE MN and have the opportunity to see and touch a live fox snake! Then hike the state park to see if you can find any snake signs! Hook, Line and Sinker: Learn the basics of fishing and spend some time with your line in the streams surrounding our camp! Whitewater State Park

Campers will spend three days and two nights at camp enjoying swimming, hiking, nature activities, games, the arts, music, crafts, educational programs, great food, cabin life, reflective campfires and more!
