Did you notice that the days are not capitalized as they are in English?
Notice also that miércoles and sábado bear a written accent.

The days of the week from lunes through viernes retain the same form in the singular and plural; we indicate that
they are plural by pluralizing the article.
We add “s” to pluralize sábado and domingo.
Hay clase de español los martes y jueves.
Tengo cita con el doctor el lunes.
el, los = “on”
I have an appointment with the doctor on Monday.
For example:
In Spanish, we express the idea of an event being “on” a certain day by using the definite article el.
If an event occurs habitually, we use the plural definite article los.
There is Spanish class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The article is omitted when we simply say what day it is.
Hoy es miércoles. Mañana es jueves.Today is Wednesday. Tomorrow is Thursday.
If the circled date represented today’s date . . .
. . . in Spanish we would answer . . .
¿Qué día es hoy?
. . . and we were to ask “What day is today?”
Hoy es jueves, cuatro de septiembre.
If the circled date represented today’s date . . .
. . . in Spanish we would answer . . .
(If today is Thursday, what day is tomorrow?)
Si hoy es jueves, ¿qué día es mañana?
Mañana es viernes, cinco de septiembre.
If the circled date represented today’s date . . .
. . . in Spanish we would answer . . .
(If tomorrow is Friday, what day is the day after tomorrow?)
Si mañana es viernes, ¿qué día es pasado mañana?
Pasado mañana es sábado, seis de septiembre.
If the circled date represented today’s date . . .
. . . in Spanish we would answer . . .
(If today is Thursday, what day was yesterday?)
Si hoy es jueves, ¿qué día fue ayer?
Ayer fue miércoles, tres de septiembre.
(Fue is the past tense of es.)
If the circled date represented today’s date . . .
. . . in Spanish we would answer . . .
(If yesterday was Wednesday, what day was the day before yesterday?)
Si ayer fue miércoles, ¿qué día fue anteayer?
Anteayer fue martes, dos de septiembre.
If the circled date represented today’s date . . .
But with the first day of each month, we use the ordinal number primero.
In Spanish, we normally use cardinal (counting) numbers when referring to the date (dos, tres, ocho, etc.).
Es lunes, primero de septiembre.
