Federal Work Study (FWS) Federal Work Study is an opportunity to work and earn income for your college
education while in school.
Federal Work Study is a federally funded program that awards based on need as determined by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
This program provides part-time on and off-campus jobs for qualifying undergraduate resident students.
Multiple studies have shown that students who work no more than 20 hours a week are more engaged in the activities of their campus, often have higher grade point averages and manage their time more effectively.

In order to determine eligibility for federal and some state and institutional aid, most colleges and universities require students to complete the FAFSA each academic year.
Students and parents must apply for a PIN number in order to electronically sign the online form: www.pin.ed.gov
