42-Pole Power Distribution Center

Single-Phase & 3-Phase OutputTripp Lite’s 42-pole Power Distribution Center (model SUDC208V42P)

organizes and simplifies power distribution for multiple racks.

The Power Distribution Center accepts 3-phase input power from

compatible UPS systems (208V, 20-60kVA) and distributes single-

phase (120V or 208V) and/or 3-phase (208V) output power to

compatible PDUs in your data center’s equipment racks. Power

distribution through individual output breakers and corresponding

output cord sets (sold separately) increases flexibility, balances

critical loads and provides branch circuit over-current protection.

High Efficiency Lowers Operating CostsThe Power Distribution Center uses a tested, trouble-free power

distribution panel mounted in a heavy-duty rack enclosure cabinet

that works with standard SmartRack™ external cable managers. Any

qualified electrician will feel at home installing output circuits, so

you won’t need to contract costly specialists to add new circuits.

The 3-phase UPS system’s output is wired to the Power Distribution

Center’s built-in 225A input circuit breaker, neutral bar and ground

bar. Output circuit breakers snap into the distribution panel and wire

to output cord sets. Each output cord set is routed through the roof

of the cabinet to overhead cable managers and into a rack enclosure,

where it is connected to the input plug of a compatible PDU.

The breaker panel includes 24 ¾-inch and 29 ½-inch knockouts to

accommodate a wide range of wiring needs. Both raised-floor and

concrete-floor data centers are supported – a removable side panel

includes two knockouts for concrete-floor installation through either

side of the Power Distribution Center.
