Lititz native Daniel Eugene Groff, 38, of Forked River, N.J., died Wednesday in an airplane collision over theTrenton suburbs.

From 1984-1995, he was employed by Way Messenger Services. He then took a position with Airways, acharter company flying out of Lancaster Airport, which he held until moving to the Forked River section of LaceyTownship, N.J., in 1998. Since October 1998, he worked for Patuxent Airways of Hollywood, Md. He also was acivilian employee of Lakehurst (N.J.) Naval Air

Work began quietly Monday to clean up Daniel M. Groff's junk-strewn property in Elizabeth Township.
