Pope Francis’ Words: “Let us not allow this season of grace to pass in vain! Let us ask God to help us set out on a path of true conversion. Let us leave behind our selfishness and self-absorption, and turn to Jesus’ Pasch. Let us stand beside our brothers and sisters in need, sharing our
spiritual and material goods with them. In this way, by concretely welcoming Christ’s victory over sin and death into our lives, we will also radiate its transforming power to all of creation.” - Pope Francis’ Message for Lent, 2019

Cybersecurity: In early February and March some parishioners received an email from a Gmail address that was supposedly from Fr. Steve, asking them to email him. Fr. Steve doesn’t have a Gmail address, only a diocesan one. He will not email or text you asking for money, gift cards, etc. Neither will any other staff members. If you receive a suspicious email, report it to your provider and delete it. Fake texts were sent to parishioners at St. Mary’s in Moscow whose cell phone numbers were on the bulletin cover, supposedly from their pastor, Fr. Joe, who doesn’t text. Fr. Steve texts infrequently, mostly in reply.
If you aren’t sure about an email or text, call the church office at 509-332-5312, or the Faith Formation office at 509-332-4402, or email [email protected] or [email protected].
Our candidates and catechumens/elect are journeying toward their Sacraments of Initiation. Please continue your prayers for them. If you would like to write them a message of
support, or share a favorite prayer, or just let them know that you are praying for or thinking about them, leave any cards or messages in the marked box by the Holy Family statue. These will be presented to them on Easter Vigil. For Cody, Kent, Liz, Michelle, Zachary, James, Kevin, Erin, Michael, and Julie. Full names and photos are on the bulletin board in the classroom hallway.
