Children’s Faith Formation

No classes on December 23 and 30. We resume Jan. 6 as we celebrate the Feast of Epiphany

There is a joint Children’s Choir/Play rehearsal in the church on Sunday, December 23, from 9:45 to 10:30 am.

NURSERY SERVICE is available during the 8:30 and 11 am Masses. It is downstairs in the St. Augustine room. Our nursery is for children under 5 years of age.

The glass will be taken to the Whitman Transfer Station and Landfill to be used in road construction. Thank you for participating !

Tuesday: New Year’s Mass, 10 am, in the church. Thursday: Adoration, evening prayer, 6:15 pm, church. Friday: Pray the Rosary, 12:10 pm, church. Saturday: LGBT Outreach Potluck, 5:30 pm, social hall.

LGBT Catholic Outreach Group holds a potluck on the first Saturday of the month immediately after the 4:30 pm Mass (January 5). All are welcome!

Please remember to donate to the 2018 Catholic Charities Collection. The Collection raises the necessary funds to sustain and operate all of our programs that serve the most vulnerable in our community.

Have you lost a child? a sibling? a childhood friend? a grandchild? a child of a friend? Is there a beloved child of God whom you have lost that

you would like to pray for? You are invited to join us. Mass of Remembrance for children who have died. Friday, December 28, at 10 am, on the Feast of the Holy Innocents. All are welcome to attend. When you enter the church for the Mass, you are invited to write the name of the person you want remembered on a paper star. During the Mass you can come forward and hang the star from one of the trees in the nativity scene. If you can’t make it to the Mass, you can come in to the church office (509-332-5312) or faith formation office (509-332-4402) to write the name or names on a star. Please call ahead to make sure someone is there.

Fellowship time: No coffee & doughnuts Dec 23 or 30. On Jan 6 the Catholic Daughters are in charge of coffee.

Catholic Daughters wish to say thank you to the parish for being so generous with donations and supporting the Catholic Daughters’ bake sale. We received $978 to give to Pullman Child Welfare. This was a huge success! God's work

has been wonderful to see as we help others in need. Thank you again! Have a blessed and merry Christmas. The Giving Tree was filled with your generous donations of pajamas, socks, underwear, hats, and gloves for children and teens in our community. Thank you for your caring hearts.

Volunteers needed for Interfaith Service. The 2019 Martin Luther King Interfaith Service is at Sacred Heart on January 20, at 4 pm. We will celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King and other spiritual leaders. The service will be followed by a free, catered meal. We need volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up. New City Hall Pullman Warming Center Needs: 2 First Aid Kits, 5 Kitchen Garbage Cans, Kitchen Garbage Bags, 1 Vacuum (can be used but needs to work) 1 Swiffer and Swiffer refills, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Clorox Wipes, Lysol Spray, Hand Sanitizer, Gloves. Masks, Laundry Soap, Plastic Cups, Plastic Silverware, Paper Bowls and Plates, $5 Fuel Cards.
