B 7:30 p.m. The Del Sol String Quartet champions the work of both world-renowned and emerging contemporary composers, collaborating across disciplines and focusing on music that reflects cultural diversity. Their program includes Moham- med Fairouz’s The Named Angels, Ben Johnston’s Amazing Grace, Osvaldo Golijov’s Tenebrae, Gabriela Lena Frank’s Canto Kechua and Erberk Eryilmaz’ Hoppa. Festival week kicks off with a diverse, profoundly spiritual program by the Del Sol String Quartet. J. S. Bach is celebrated in three exciting programs that include choral works, a Baroque orchestra performance, and an organ recital by Renée Anne Louprette. The week concludes with a festive orchestral program featuring guest pianist Anton Nel. We’re looking forward to seeing you in Victoria for a wonderful week of music! Liberty Coffee Haus 206 N.
