Memorare to Saint Joseph Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power we fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer our humble petitions, but in your kindness, hear and answer us. Amen.

Pope Francis Proclaims Year of Dedication to Saint Joseph

Marking the 150th anniversary of Saint Joseph being declared patron of the universal church, Pope Francis proclaimed a yearlong celebration. At our Church, the statue of Saint Joseph has been beautifully decorated and placed in the sanctuary, and the Litany to Saint Joseph ewtn.com/catholicism/devotions/litany-of-st-joseph-247 will be prayed after each Mass to honor our Parish Saint.

Church in Latin America Special Collection For over 50 years, Catholics in the United States have participated in the Collection for the Church in Latin America as a concrete expression of solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the region. This year the needs of the Church in Latin America are even greater in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Your contribution to the collection on the weekend of January 23-24, is a chance for you to support religious education, evangelization, and the formation of priests and religious sisters and brothers throughout the Americas. Please visit https://www.usccb.org/committees/national-collections

2021 Calendars and Missals are available in the Church Vestibule and the Parish Center. Please take a Missal home with you and keep it with you when you come to Mass. Please do not leave your Missal after Mass.

Saint Vincent de Paul, January 24, 2021 Your gifts to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul help those among us who are poor and suffering to find God. In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls and the disciples abandon all to follow him. Jesus’ call was to simple fishermen while they were plying their trade. Jesus gives us a continuing call. The starting point for Jesus’ call to discipleship isn’t with “holy” or “perfect” people. Our transformation doesn’t come all at once but takes place throughout our lives. Consider responding to Jesus’ call by helping those in need.

Is there a family you know who needs assistance? Please call the Society of St. Vincent de Paul so that together we may help.

You are welcomed to call 508-533-8000 with your petition and intentions, or you may email them to [email protected]. We will ask God to answer your need. Petitions prayed for 30 days.
