WBE 4200/4400The new WBE 4200 and WBE 4400 semi-automatic wheel balancers offer garages and workshops a simple, high-precision and easy-to-use value alternative. The new machines each provide the user with clear digital read-outs for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles, with a new ergonomic design allowing for better access to the inside of the wheel and an improved working position, creating more comfort for the user.

Delphi’s electronic injector test kit can:

• Measure resistance and inductance of the coil in the injector

• Test for coil open/short circuits and check the insulation of the coil to the injector body

• Drive the valve to make it BUZZ, an audible noise indication proving the valve is not stuck from lacquering deposits

• Offer a significant time and cost savings solution

This tool is designed to complement the current hydraulic diagnostic equipment, YDT278 sealed rail kit, YDT410 false actuator kit, YDT586 backleak kit, YDT465 T-HP kit and break-out equipment and electronic diagnostic equipment (DIAMAND or DS) to complete the on vehicle diagnosis of the CR system.

The complete test process with the YDT720 proves the electrical integrity of the injector and aids diagnosis of potential faults (ECU, harness and injector). This completes the on-vehicle diagnosis process for the CR system alongside Delphi’s sealed rail tool and false actuator kit which identify fuel system faults.

An extended drive routine for an on-vehicle injector clean is included. During this cycle a cleaning solvent can be introduced into the injector to resolve specific issues, enabling a cost effective and environmentally friendly solution.

Solvent CleanerThe dedicated solvent is supplied in pre-filled 50ml syringes and will be sold in boxes of ten. Each syringe is individually blister packed and the cardboard backing describes the warnings (in 18 languages) related to the product, as it is classified as an irritant. This solvent doesn’t present any significant risks; it is biodegradable, phosphate-free, bactericidal, non-flammable and water miscible, however, for user safety, goggles and gloves are included.

In-tank additives will not aid with this issue, 9001-908 Solvent Cleaner from Delphi is tried and tested and aggressive enough to resolve internal CR injector lacquering without causing damage to components.

Konfort 720RThe KONFORT 720R is an entry level unit for single gas applications. It features a single colour display, with manual control of hoses, oil and UV management.

Konfort 780RThe KONFORT 780R is the top of the range service station which is designed to deal with both refrigerant types (R134A & HFO-1234YF) simultaneously. The unit is fully automatic and the information is clearly presented on the colour display. An internal SD card records all the service functions as well as containing the vehicle database. Automatic Oil/UV management with electronic bottle identification and hermetically sealed containers prevent cross contamination of oils and any moisture contamination of lubricants. The internal tilt sensor ensures accurate refrigerant charging at all times, whilst the automatic leak detection and complex internal ventilation system ensures safe use with the new refrigerant. These new features allow the units to be compatible with Hybrid and Electric vehicles. The accuracy of both the recovery and charge phases are greatly increased to meet the latest OEM requirements. In addition the oil and refrigerant management is accurately controlled to prevent cross contamination at any point.

Vauxhall/Isuzu Timing Kit The tools provided in AST4350G kit cover setting and locking of the camshaft, crankshaft/flywheel and injection pump. To establish correct camshaft timing position, AST4130 camshaft setting plate is used with dial test indicator AST3054-10. The kit includes AST4130/3 special foot which must be screwed into the dial test indicator plunger, in place of its normal ‘domed’ end. On earlier 1.6 and 1.7D engines, injection pump and crank TDC timing marks are provided. However to establish TDC on X17DTL engines up to 1996, AST4149 TDC setting tool is required and from 97 on, AST4298 flywheel locking pin is used in place of the AST4149. On X17DTL engines from 98MY AST3054-14 locking pin is required to fix the injection pump timing position. All these tools are included in Kit AST4350G.
