Itinerary
Day 1 August, 30th
, 2013 Lethbridge to Jasper (D)
Meet your Brewster coach and driver today to transfer to Jasper National Park.
Highway 93, known as the Icefields Parkway, qualifies as one of the most scenic drives in the world. Stretching
229 km from Lake Louise to Jasper, it traverses an unspoiled wilderness of more than 100 glaciers, pristine
lakes, and some of the highest Rockies. Pass lakes Herbert, Hector, Bow, and Peyto and other splendid scenery,including Crowfoot Glacier.
After visiting the Athabasca Glacier, continue northward towards Sunwapta Falls and the peaceful mountain
townsite of Jasper.
Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the Amethyst Lodge

Day 2 - 5 August 31st

Breakfast is included at your hotel. This afternoon you depart Jasper for a 4 day/3 night journey to Toronto. ViaRail from Jasper to Toronto aboard "The Canadian" - Sleeper Touring Class in a Cabin for 2.
Cabin for 2 - By day, a private room for two with armchairs and a large picture window. By night, private upper
and lower berths complete with washroom facilities. Shower facilities are available in each sleeping car.
Reservations are required for dinner (meals included) and your steward will offer a choice of times once the
train is under way. Feel free to walk the length of the train to familiarize yourself with its amenities. The train
will make some stops; VIA attendants will let you know if the stop is long enough to disembark for a while.
Day 6 September 4th

Welcome to Toronto! You will arrive at Toronto Union Station this morning and will have a coach waiting to
transfer you to your hotel.
The day is yours to explore this cosmopolitan city. Toronto offers colourful
neighbourhoods, world class shopping, fine cuisine and multiple recreational
activities. Explore the waterfront area, where you will find colourful shops,
outdoor theatres and restaurants as well as the downtown core with its many
galleries and shopping districts. Admission to the CN Tower is included today.
Visit Toronto's famous CN Tower and experience the unsurpassed views of the
entire metropolis. Your visit to the Look Out and Glass Floor Level will be a thrill to remember!

Upon arrival in Montreal, meet your Step-on-Guide for a sightseeing city tour of Montreal including the
picturesque Old Montreal and the unique French Quarter.
Also included today is a tour of the famous Notre-Dame Basilica. A masterpiece of neo-Gothic architecture, the
Notre-Dame Basilica was constructed between 1829 and 1834. The East Tower, known as "The Temperance"
holds a ten-bell carillon, while the West Tower, called "The Perseverance" holds "Le Gros Bourdon", a bell
weighing 10,900 kg. The polychrome interior is highlighted by outstanding woodwork that is either painted of
gilded. Located at the back of the Basilica are the Sacre-Coeur Chapel and the Notre-Dame Museum.

Day 14 September 12th

Overnight aboard VIA Rail's Sleeper Touring Class in a Regular Bedroom from Quebec City to Halifax.
Van Transfer - Qubec City Train Station to Charny Train Station. The
VIA Rail's 'Ocean' does not depart directly from Qubec City to get to
the Maritime Provinces. It departs from the Charny Train Station which
is located 20 minutes away.
Cabin for 2 - By day, a private room for two, with armchairs and a large
picture window. By night, private upper and lower berths complete
with washroom facilities. There are no shower facilities in the cars, so
showers will have to wait until arrival at hotel destination.
This overnight journey will travel through the splendid scenery of Canada's Maritime Provinces. Feel free to

atmosphere that has made it famous. Peggy's Cove is certainly one of Canada's gems.
