2) Make it Fun - Assigned on Seesaw or students may use the template below or copy into their Fundations Journals to match the words in the box to the correct picture.

3) Word of the Day - Assigned on Seesaw or in their Fundations Journals, students should write the Word of the Day: clumps. Then, tap and blend to read the word; mark the word; and write a sentence using the word.

4) Dictation - Assigned on Seesaw or please dictate the following words for your child while he/she writes them in their Fundations Journal: how, now, splash, bells Remind students to mark each word looking for blends, digraphs, suffixes, etc.

Reading: 20 minutesIndependent reading for at least 20 minutes. Remember to use strategies from school and log it on the reading log. Reading log is required, as this will be needed to document your learning. Feeling tech savvy? Record yourself reading on Seesaw.

Writing: 20 minutesIn each writing, please include capitals/punctuation, spell words and word parts you know correctly, use best handwriting, and include a detailed sketch! Time allowing, reread your work and add colors to sketches, as appropriate.

Prompts Assigned on Seesaw. If writing in the Fundations Journal is easier, please feel free to upload a picture of the work into the Seesaw assignment each day using the camera tool!

If Seesaw is unavailable, please print the template from your teacher’s web site, or complete in My Fundations Journal. Include more than one sentence and an illustration. Read your writing aloud when you are finished!

Writing Prompt: Make a collection of 5 toys from around your house. Pick out your favorite toy from your collection and write about why it is your favorite. Use lots of details to explain why it is the best toy! Use the Anchor Chart below to help you organize your ideas to judge fairly, then use the Opinion Writing template (print from teacher web site) or copy the template into your Fundations Journal to list your reasons.

Math: 30 minutes1) 14-7: Attributes that define 3D shapes - Assigned on Seesaw

Today, you will be learning more about 3D shapes and their attributes. This information is detailed in the 4 boxes along the top of image A below. Image B covers the vocabulary of 3D shape attributes more in depth. Then, in your Fundations Journal, please complete #1 & #2 from image C below, by looking at the shape and think what sentences endings are true: “All cubes / cylinders …”, then write the sentence endings make the statements true.
