Hi my name is Nina and I am the new 4 Winds Project Worker.
I have a wide range of experience of supporting and empowering people. I am very keen to enable people at 4 Winds to lead a good life and am particularly
interested in involving people who use 4 Winds to contribute to developing activities and peer support.
So if you need any assistance with anything or have any ideas regarding activities, please speak to me.
In my spare time I like going to car boots sales and finding bargains and I also like to dance, particularly lindy-hop!
Thursday 1st August Karaoke at Tiger Tiger The centre will close at 4.15pm to walk into town for a one hour karaoke session. Refreshments can be purchased after the activity in the city centre.
Please be aware that the centre will close during both these activities.
Poetry Corner…. Sounds of early Bird song. Its Reminding of what gets forgotten of Living in the Country when at first when very young. The smells when I lived home with mother. The farms, sea salt, cold air and coal fire with my mum. EAT EXERCISE and look for our flight to freedom around the world.

A ROBIN IN THE AUTUMN TIME and I aged five?
It was sunny with no hint of rain and a school holiday.
Alone in the lounge, mum in the kitchen preparing an early lunch for my dad before he left for his 2 ‘till 10 shift of work.
Suddenly, I heard the garden Robin singing. Looking out of the rear windows of the lounge, I could see the gorgeous, perky little red breasted bird sitting on the edge of the flower border next to where dad had planted last years small Christmas Tree.
Willing the Robin to come to me, I opened the window and to my delight he did. But my mood quickly changed. To my horror the little Robin desperately flew from one end of the sunshine room to the other hitting the windows.
As quickly as I could I opened all three windows to the garden and stood very, very still, he flew through an open window and made his way back to the safety of the garden with-out boundaries.
Relieved! Having learned a valuable lesson. I would never, ever again do such a silly thing to a free spirit.
Later that afternoon, I was playing in the garden and heard the little Robin singing happily and could see him pulling worms from the newly dug potato patch.
Red breasted story
Companions always and
Ever growing up
