Foster understanding, cooperation and respect for strengths and achievements among the youth of Guelph and Wellington County. Cross pollinate the University educated youth and the youth outside of the University (these are traditionally less educated and more street smart youth) who are starting businesses. Foster cooperation and reliance on strengths through peer to peer activities and management. Youth reaching out to support and assist other youth through community outreach workshops and information sessions. Use students from the University of Guelph to mentor and work hands on in business skill development with the incubator. Use the roster of community leaders and volunteers established by the partners to bring specific experience and knowledge to all youth involved. Have the University and Incubator youth act as community role models.

Have the youth in the Incubator experience the value of education and knowledge and the University students experience the reality of putting education into practice.

Have the youth experience cooperation and compromise in finding the best solutions to issues.

Have the youth experience the synergy of individuals working together for a common goal.

Have the youth pass on their experiences and findings to others through mentoring .

Have youth supported and encouraged in establishing retail and food product related businesses within the incubator.

Build evidence of personal skills to strengthen the resumes of youth participants to be more marketable in a tight market.

for other youth groups
