5-Heddle atlas weaves or Tela meshes are advanced filter meshes based on a 5-Heddle weave pattern. As a result, weaves with open meshes and correspondingly high flow rates and high mechanical stability become possible.

5-Heddle atlas weaves have particularly proven themselves in systems with drum filters and in rotating disc filters, in which filter cake buildup, cleaning and backwashing are carried out in continuous cycles. They are used in the field of waste water treatment, in process water filtration, in mining and in distillation towers.
