Conference of the International Training Centre for

Crowd & Safety Management

The conference deals with relevant and current issues surrounding processes of planning and

implementing events as well as more general issues concerning the planning and implementation

of events involving large crowds. In this context national and international experts from both

scientific and practical areas will share their experiences in lectures, panels and workshops. The

conference is directed at anyone who deals theoretically or practically with these topics.

In 2017, over the course of two days more than 300 participants shared and discussed their

experiences in more than 35 lectures, panels and a big conference party – this helped in

establishing the International Training Centre for Crowd & Safety Management Conference as the

leading platform for the exchange and transfer of knowledge and the discussion of relevant

issues surrounding crowd & safety management.

Discussing Solution, Highlighting Design Potential

The Conference for Crowd provides a forum where the participants can address all their questions

concerning security constructively, critically and openly and discuss relevant, applicable,

interdisciplinary and interorganisational solutions. It highlights potential event designs and offers

important networking opportunities to ensure continuing discussions and exchange of knowledge

in the future.

In four thematic blocks per day a large variety of different relevant topics will be addressed – in

The eps Innovationsforum particularly aims at being a platform for the presentation of

innovative ideas, inventions or product developments. The participants and potential users view
