Small group sharing: In your small group of 5 or 6 each, share your responses, one after another. Listen attentively with your eyes, ears and heart. Listen to his / her feelings. Don’t interrupt, don’t judge and don’t give advice.

Instruction as in Step I

Our lives are like drinking glasses; they are made to be filled and used. We have been created to “HOLD” GOD. We are to be channels for His Holy Spirit here on earth like that of a drained pipe. But like a reservoir that holds enough to meet every need where the life and power of God is required.

You would never give a glass like that to somebody that needed a drink. The glass needed to be washed thoroughly and rinsed clean before it is usable. Many people don’t know the Power of the Holy Spirit inside them because their lives are like dirty glasses. They need to be cleansed before they can be filled, as the Holy Spirit is clean, pure water. God has made it possible through Jesus for our lives to be cleansed from all the filth inside. Some of us look spotless on the outside but all of us needs deep cleansing inside our hearts. (1Sam. 16:17)

You would never dream of giving someone a drink from a cracked glass. You would probably throw the glass away. But God never does it. He heals the crack. Many people feel unable to open their cracks. Life and circumstances have often dealt them serve blows. To such a point that they seem unable to recover.

God in His Power can touch them and make them whole (Mt. 9:12). Right through Jesus Ministry here on earth He healed those lives who are cracked. That is, those who were suffering from sickness, pain, loneliness and hurt, Jesus was able to bring the Power of God and heal them.

And when they were healed He able to send them away in the Power of God with a new strength, so that they no longer live in their problem of infirmity. God wants to do the same for us. He wants to bring healing and forgiveness in the Power of the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus, and then He wants to fill us with His life and Power through the Holy Spirit so we can continue the Ministry of Jesus in our day and age ( John 14:12 )

Of course you can never fill a glass that is upside-down all of the time. It is up to us; We need to be open to God For Him to fill us. We need to be right side-up. There’s need to be willingness of our Spirit to receive the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit will not force His way into our lives. 

Glasses are to be filled. A glass that has never held liquid has never filled the purpose for which it was made. We also are made to be filled. People who have never known the fullness of God’s Power through the Holy Spirit in their lives. Have likewise never fulfilled the purpose for which they were created.

The world need a treatment of…..the Gospel, because only the Good News can give back to the world the life it backs. This is why we live the Word of life. 

“ We make it flesh in ourselves to the point of being that living word…. One word would be enough to make one saint, to make them another Jesus. With the passage of time we live man words of Sacred Scripture, so that these stay with us as a permanent treasure in our souls. 

To live the word in the present moment of our lives – this is our task.

And all of us can live it. Whatever our vocation, whatever our race, our sex, our social situation, because Jesus is Light or every man who comes into this world.

With this simple method we re-evangelize our souls and with them the world.

Try to live it and you will find all of perfection and, just as every morning you are content with the Sacred Host which you receive, without desiring some other one, in the same way be satisfied with this word. And you will find in it as St. Francis used to find in it, the hidden manna of a thousand fragrances.

In this way and only in this way: I doing the truth, we love, otherwise, love is empty sentimentalism for real love is Christ Jesus, is the truth, the Gospel.

Let us be living Gospel, living words of life, another Jesus! And then we will really love Him we will imitate Mary, the Mother of the Light, of the Word: the living Word.

We have no other book except the Gospel. We have not other science. No other art.

There is Life!He who finds it does not die!
