Sec. 32-129. - B-1 residential business.

Purpose. The purpose of this B-1 residential business district is to encourage the continued

use of existing structures and to provide for the establishment of new structures in a quiet,

uncongested environment for limited business purposes which will not adversely a�ect

adjacent residential areas.

Permitted uses. A building or premises in the B-1 district may be used for the following

purposes:

(1) Professional, administrative and sales o�ces which have no on-premises sales of

tangible items.

Medical clinics, testing laboratories and diagnostic centers.

Medical sales or supply o�ces as a part of a professional o�ce or medical clinic.

Handicraft instructional shops.

Any uses allowed in R-1 or R-2 districts within the restrictions of each district.

Group day care home serving no more than 12 clients.

Accessory uses. Accessory uses in the B-1 district are as follows: Uses on the same lot and

customarily incidental to the permitted uses including, but not limited to, garages or parking

structures for commercial vehicles, o�-street parking and loading zones and limited storage

facilities.
