The bearingless motor has the same drive components as the standard and wheel motor (with the exception that the motor is assembled without the output shaft, bearings and bearing housing). The bearingless motor is especially suited for applications such as gearboxes, winch drives, reel and roll drives. Bearingless motor applications must be designed with a bearing supported internal spline to mate with the bearingless motor drive. Product designs using these hydraulic motors provide considerable cost savings.

F.A.Q.What type of gear oil should I use to lubricate my HECO?
For maximum speed reducer life the recommended oil is SAE 85W-140 Multi-Grade gear oil, meeting API-GL5 and API-MT1 service. An alternate oil that will provide adequate speed reducer life is SAE 90W gear oil, meeting APIGL5 and API-MT1 service. These lubricants should be readily available at your local automotive store or oil distributor.
