Security is our top priority. The login methods we offer permit easy, secure access to your digital products and services. You are clearly identified when you do so. Unauthorized persons have no access to your Digital Banking.
Access AppLogging in is especially convenient and secure via the UBS Access App. You always have the Access App on your smartphone with you and can access your Digital Banking quickly.
More security for your banking transactionsAs a client of UBS Digital Banking, you benefit from high security standards:– Unique identification thanks to secure login methods and strong encryption of data– Additional security thanks to personal settings– Automatic recognition of irregularities, e.g. during login or entry of payments– Check your own security behavior on the basis of our recommendations
Additional securityAdditional security checks provide even more protection. You confirm both new payment recipients or the adjustment of your security settings with your Access Card. This is not connected to the Internet, so it is protected from malware.

1. Load UBS Access App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Have your Access Card and card reader or your Access Card Display ready.
3. Make a note of the last five numbers of your Access Card or Access Card Display. Alterna-tively, you can find them on the accompanying letter.
4. Launch the Access App on your mobile device.
5. Follow the instructions in the app and conclude the activation. The Access App is immediately ready for use.
During the first activation of the Access Card or Access Card Display, you must change your initial PIN (personal identification number).
1. Switch on the card reader by inserting the Access Card or switch on the Access Card Dis-play via .
2. Enter your initial PIN and press .
3. Enter a new six- to eleven-character PIN and press .
4. Re-enter your PIN and press .
5. The new PIN will be valid immediately.
You can change your PIN at any time by pressing or pressing .
PIN change
Blocked / lost card: Your Access Card is blocked after entering the PIN incorrectly five times. You can order a new Access Card via ubs.com/help. This also applies to loss of the Access Card or card reader (charges apply for both).
Setting up the Access App
For your protection, you need to activate the Access App with the Access Card and card reader or Access Card Display before using it for the first time.
Note: You will need these five characters in a later step for activation. To do so, enter the six characters displayed in the Access App and the additional five characters in the card reader or the Access Card Display. Enter the eleven characters in total and then press . You can find further information at ubs.com/access-app
Tip: The Access App can be installed in up to three different mobile devices and be activated for multiple contract numbers.

1. Enter your contract number on the login page and click Continue.
2. Select Access Card as the login method.
3. Switch on card reader by inserting the Access Card or switch on the Access Card Display via

4. Enter your PIN and press .
5. Enter the six-digit code displayed on the login page into the card reader or Access Card Dis-play and press .
6. Transfer the eight-character code from the card reader or Access Card Display to the login page and click Login.
Computer / tablet with Internet browser
1. Start the desired digital service such as E-Bank-ing at ubs.com and enter contract number. Click Continue.
2. Select Access App as the login method.
3. Launch the Access App, aim the camera of the smartphone on the QR code and then enter the PIN of the Access App.
UBS apps
1. Launch Mobile Banking App or Safe App and enter contract number once.
2. Select Access App as login method and click Login.
3. Enter the PIN of the Access App.

Security note: The entry number displayed by UBS for the login always has six digits. Should this number have fewer digits, stop the login and contact Support immediately.

* Only available for clients in Switzerland. Clients with a residence abroad can retrieve their bank documents for ten years in E-Banking.
Digital receipt of documents
You can find your bank documents in E-Banking under Mailbox > Bank documents in your UBS Safe* or on the road also in the UBS Safe App*. This is ideal to retrieve or download account statements, certificates, and credit and debit notifications.
We also save the settlement of your credit or prepaid card in E-Banking and in the Mobile Banking App under Cards.
Secure digital payment of invoices
You can receive and pay your invoices directly in E-Banking and in the Mobile Banking App with eBill invoices. This practical feature can be set up under Payments.
Personalize security settings
You can set up monthly payment limits, manage country restrictions or deactivate particular accounts for online payments in the security settings. Find out more about this at ubs.com/security.
You can log into E-Banking or the Mobile Banking App easily and securely with the Access App. Moreover, you can securely confirm online credit card purchases and remain informed about security relevant events.
With our Mobile Banking App, you can make your bank trans-actions just as securely as with E-Banking. In addition, you can scan payment slips directly and receive push notifications. Find more information at ubs.com/mobile

Confirmation of new payees
The security solution of UBS requires an additional check if you enter a recipient for a payment to whom you have never before made a transfer. Confirm the payee once with the Access Card and card reader or Access Card Display. This allows you to ensure that transfers are not manipulated by criminals.
However, confirmation is not necessary for all new payees. Payees who have already been approved by UBS – for example, most telephone companies, electricity suppliers, health insurances and mail order companies, etc. – are exempted from the additional check.
Verification window for confirmation of a new payee
1. Switch on the card reader by inserting the Access Card or switch on the Access Card Dis-play via . Enter your PIN and press .
2. In the verification window of the Mobile Banking App, up to five characters are marked with . Read these missing characters on the payment document.
3. Enter the characters read on the payment document in the card reader or Access Card Display and press .
4. Transfer the eight-character code displayed on the card reader or Access Card Display in the verification window in Mobile Banking App and click Submit.
Payments entered online or standing ordersIf you have to confirm a payee, upon entry of the payment in E-Banking or the Mobile Banking App, a control window appears automatically for confirmation.*
