Healthcare technology in BC is moving faster than we as providers can genuinely engage in. It's an exciting time, yet the reality is our healthcare professionals are either quickly adopting the changes, overwhelmed, or somewhere in the middle. Our goal is to open a dialogue, share experiences, and provide a platform to oDer accessible and practical approach to adopting innovative technologies in our province. Join us in this exciting new interactive and stimulating program as the 1st of its kind in BC!

FORMATS • Oral presentation (5-10 min oral presentations which include question/answer time) • Poster Presentations REQUIREMENTS Research or evaluation may be published or unpublished, a single study or a body of work, the work of an individual or a team. Time frame for when the research or evaluation was conducted is open, but the impact should have occurred recently. Personal reflections on experiences of using ehealth tools are also welcome. E.g. sharing a favourite app, how to optimally use electronic records, highlighting a favourite social media site. MAIN CONTACT The Primary contact listed on the abstract will be the main contact for the meeting organizers. NOTIFICATIONS Will be sent by mid April. Please note that if accepted you will be guaranteed to receive the early bird discount rate to register for eHITS.
1. Explore the latest exciting developments and ways health professionals, clinics, hospitals and health authorities are using information technologies to deliver innovative health services to patients in BC.
2. Share the latest apps and electronic tools to enhance their own practices and better support them in engaging their patients in pursuit of better health.
3. Identify the new generations of technologies relevant to BC healthcare which are about to transform health practices, and what the current generation of health professional trainees are learning and using.
4. Participate in the dialogue as to how to guide the current health system to judiciously adopt information technologies into health care service delivery in the diDerent clinical contexts in B.C. that can directly aDect their patients.
