Lake Toba is one of the awesome natural wonders of the world. is located in the province of North Sumatra, Indonesia, approximately 176 km to the west of the provincial capital, Medan, This is a crater lake so enormous it has an island almost the size of Singapore in its centre. At over 1,145 square kilometers, and a depth of 450 meters, Lake Toba is actually more like an ocean. This is the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of the deepest lakes in the world.

Day1 : AIRPORT – MEDAN (L,D)

Maimoon Palace is an istana of Sultanate of Deli and also a well-known landmark in Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra, Indonesia.

Built by Sultan Makmun Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah in years 1887–1891, the palace covers 2,772 m² and has 30 rooms. The Palace has become a popular tourist destination in the medan city, not solely because of its historical heritage statues, but also because of its unique interior design of the palace, mixing the elements of Malay cultural heritage, Islam, Spanish, Indian, and Italian style.

Selain Istana Maimoon, Masjid Agung Medan adalah warisan arsitektur lain Kesultanan Deli. masjid ini masih dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat untuk sholat sehari-hari. Seperti The Istana Maimoon, bahan bangunan masjid diambil dari Italia. Day 2: MEDAN – PARAPAT (BLD)

Leave Medan for Parapat – Lake Toba (one of the biggest crated lakes in the world. Parapat is 176 km from Medan and can be reached in 4 hours by bus. The tour will pass through the palm oil , cocoa, rubber, tea, clove and cinnamon plantation. At Pematang Siantar, tour will visit: KWAM IM TEMPLE, & PATEN SHOP. The tour proceed to Parapat ,arrive in parapet. check in hotel, free programme.

Samosir, or Samosir Island, is a large volcanic island in Lake Toba, located in the north of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. Administratively, Samosir Island is governed as six of the nine districts within Samosir Regency. The lake and island were formed after the eruption of a supervolcano some 75,000 years ago. The island was originally connected to the surrounding caldera wall by a small isthmus, which was cut through to aid navigation.

At 640 square kilometres (247 sq mi), Samosir is the largest island within an island, and the fifth largest lake island in the world. It also contains two smaller lakes, Lake Sidihoni and Lake Aek Natonang. Across the lake on the east from the island lies Uluan Peninsula. The island is linked to the mainland of Sumatra on its western part by a narrow isthmus connecting the town of Pangururan on Samosir and Tele on mainland Sumatra.
