5K RUN FOR MENTAL STRENGTH A COLONIAL ROAD RUNNERS GRAND PRIX EVENT Sponsored by: National Alliance on Mental Illness and Warhill High School Cross Country Date: Saturday, June 27 th , 2020 Location: Eastern State Hospital, Williamsburg, VA 5K Run/Walk: 9:00am One Mile Fun Run/Walk: 8:30am Age Groups (Men & Women): 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over Awards: Top 3 finishers overall male and female, top 3 race walkers male and . female, top 3 finishers in five-year age groups male and female, all for 5K. Top 3 finishers overall, male and female, in one mile fun run. Ribbons to all one mile fun run/walk. Post-race fuel: Beverages (water, Gatorade), fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), bagels, etc. Entry fees: $20.00 pre-registered, postmarked by June 25 th , 2020, $25.00 late and race day. Pre-register to ensure the correct t-shirt size. Directions to Eastern State Hospital From Richmond: Travel East on I-64 to exit 234-A to Rt. 199 East (Lightfoot Exit) to Williamsburg. Take Rt. 199 East to Route 612 (Longhill Road Exit). Turn left onto 612 South to 615 South. Turn right on 322 South- which is the back entrance of Eastern State Hospital (across from Williamsburg-James City County Recreation Center). Turn right on Foster Road and follow to the end for parking. (It is slightly over a mile from the Rt. 199 exit to parking.) The run begins at the pool and picnic area. From Newport News Travel West on I-64 to Exit 242-A (Busch Gardens/Jamestown exit) and Rt. 199 West. Take Rt.199 West to Route 612 (Longhill Road Exit). Turn right onto 612 South to 615 South. Turn right on 322 South- which is the back entrance of Eastern State Hospital (across from Williamsburg-James City County Recreation Center). Turn right on Foster Road and follow to the end for parking. (It is slightly over a mile from the Rt. 199 exit to parking.) The run begins at the pool and picnic area Race Course

1. Out and back course with a loop 2. Mostly flat course with two gradual hills 3. Fast course 4. All asphalt roads except 1/8 mile on hard-packed gravel/dirt road
