“The Magic Flute” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The Magic Flute is an opera in two acts composed in 1791 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The work is in the form of a Singspiel that means opera in German.

Mozart’s most famous opera, “The Magic Flute,” tells a charming, fantastic story that includes a bird seller, a captured princess, a prince who wants to rescue her, an evil Queen of the Night.The singers perform with an orchestra consisting of two flutes, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, two horns, two trumpets, three trombones, a timpani and strings.
