Today’s real-world health problems can only be solved within ecosystems wherein startups, corporates, venture capitalists and service providers work closely together. Breakout Session 4: The merging of Medtech and ITUntil recently IT and Medtech have been two relatively independent areas, but they are slowly merging more and more. Compared to other sectors, Medtech is still relatively far behind. One study by ABB shows that Medtech is just at the beginning of a major digitalisation push. This Breakout Session will highlight the medtech-specific challenges from different perspectives (business models, view physicians, vision regulators), as well as present several concrete examples.
