Prospective Bid Proposers shall acknowledge receipt of the total number the Addenda issued for this Project on the space provided on Section 00 41 00 Bid Proposal Form. The following clarifications are applicable to drawings and specifications for the project referenced above. Item 1: A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on May 17 th 2018 at 10:30am and the attendance log is attached. Item 2: Question: What are the allowable work hours for the project? Answer: Per Article 37 of the General Conditions section 00 72 13 37.1 No person shall be employed to work or be permitted to work more than eight (8) hours in any Day or more than forty (40) hours in any week for any Work provided in the Contract, in accordance with Connecticut General Statute Section 31-57. 37.2 The operation of such limitation of hours of work may be suspended during an emergency, upon the approval of the Commissioner, in accordance with Connecticut General Statute Section 31-57. The allowable construction activity time for construction in the City of Bridgeport is 7:00am to 6:00pm. Item 3: Question: Who is the contact person for the City of Bridgeport for all work performed in the City of Bridgeport streets? Answer: All work performed on city property is under the jurisdiction of City of Bridgeport. The contact person for the City of Bridgeport is Jon Urquidi – City Engineer: [email protected] Item 4: Question: Who is the contact person for the Bridgeport Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) for all work performed in the City of Bridgeport streets? Answer: All work performed on city property is under the jurisdiction of City of Bridgeport and all storm and sewer work connecting to the city system is under the jurisdiction of the Bridgeport WPCA.
