At the beginning of my term, I said I wanted this to be your MBA. I wanted you to understand how an “Investment in you, through a partnership with MBAF can help you grow your

career”. Through this partnership, others would be able to find and have the same professional and personal rewards I have been blessed with during my years of involvement. I wanted to promote our groups members and our amazing industry. In this last year, I have been honored and humbled to be your association President. The thing that was demonstrated and confirmed to me time and time again throughout this year of service was one truth -"Sometimes the most ordinary things can be made extraordinary.... Just by doing them with the right people" (Elizabeth Green) From our Legislative Days in Tallahassee, Secondary Conference, MBA National Annual Convention, stra-tegic planning workshop, committee and conference calls, and even just the individual calls and meetings. -people were extraordinary.

I think it goes without saying…. you have to be a lit-tle out of the ordinary just to be in this rewarding, challenging, and constantly evolving business of ours. The reality is, I have seen this year more clearly than ever. The MBA of Florida is simply extraordi-nary. The people who are dedicated to this organi-zation amaze me. No detail too small or task too big, there is always someone to lend a hand and want to elevate us to the next level. Sometimes it was a member with a warm handshake at a conven-tion that shared how the association made them more successful. Sometimes it was a loss of some-one is the "MBA family" and everyone would imme-diately reach out and selflessly say, "How can I help?" It is the valued mentors who have served and been members year after year, that make up the foundation of this organization. They share their wisdom openly with the new members to just help them succeed. Thank you for your support this year. I am excited for the plans that Pat has in store for us and he will set during his term. He will certainly accomplish great things and we as an industry will continue to grow and thrive. Mba of Florida and you - your continued actions and support and all the great things this organization does - together we are ex-traordinary.
