Boone Family Movie Night –Emoji Movie! When: Friday, March 2nd Time: 6:30pm

Dear Boone Families,

Happy Pre- Spring! We’ve been busy at the corral coordinating with PTA for our Family Movie Night

which is coming up very quickly on Friday, March 2nd, from 6:30-8:00pm! This event is free and fun for

the whole family. We encourage everyone to come out and bring their picnic dinner, lawn chair or blankets

and enjoy some family fun. There will be FOOD TRUCKS here for you to buy your dinner from them—

(Nachos, Hotdogs, Pizza, Popcorn, shaved ice)! PTA will also have their Spring Fundraiser kickoff! We

hope you can join us for this fun night.

Our PTA is looking for parent volunteers to help our school by serving on the board next year. We

encourage each of you to consider being a more involved member of our PTA—no prior experience is

required. We will provide the training and assistance you need to be a part of our PTA Board Team! For

next year, we need a WatchDog Rep, secretary, benevolence ,treasurer and parliamentarian. Training and

Come join us for a fun night with your family and school friends. and a family movie! Bring your folding chairs, blankets, and feel free to bring your dinner or favorite movie snacks for your fami-ly! Food trucks will be available for you to buy dinner! This movie was voted on by our students!

Children must be accompanied by their parents.

Box Tops For Boone Keep clipping and bringing in those Box Tops! We have 2 more months to reach our $2,500 goal. Remember to ask family, friends & neighbors! Classroom competitions are still going strong for our theme, "Build a Better School with Box Tops ". We are looking for donations of trinket toys to replenish our Box Tops treasure box in the computer lab. Each student who turns in Box Tops to the computer lab gets a prize. We ask that the toys are clean and not broken. You can turn them into the office. Thank you!

Summer School will be offered in June free

of charge to 5th grade students who do not

PTA Corner: A big thank you to McAllister's Deli off Dezavala and Carrabara's Italian Grill off I-10 for their donations for our Teacher's Souper Bowl luncheon on Feb. 2nd. Our teachers are so grateful!

Thank you to all who came out to our Baskin Robbins Spirit Night! We made $108 in sales. It was a great night with HUGE smiles on the kids’ faces! Watch for an-other PTA Spirit Night at Las Palapas in April!! Please join us!

We hope each of you can join us at our Movie Night on Friday, March 2nd! This night will also be our Fundraiser Kickoff for our Spring Popcorn Fundraiser!

Our nominating committee is actively seeking members for the 2018-2019 PTA Board. We are looking to fill multiple po-sitions for next school year. Watch for flyers coming home soon!
