Dagostino (82257) responded to suspicious activity at 1330 E 3rd St. I made contact with Ms. Moore who reported while she was exiting the convenience store and walking to her vehicle two males made obscene comments to her. Ms. Moore described these parties as two black males that were standing at pump 9 next to a blue Ford sedan. This vehicle and parties were no longer on scene when police arrived at this address. On 06/07/2020 at 04:20 hours, Ofc. Allison #237, Ofc. Wiegand #1104 were dispatched to a citizen assist at 1410 Grove St. Police met with the complainant Ruth Townsend. Ms. Townsend stated that she paid a man to rent a room from him and lately he has been acting strange and she felt she needed to leave. Ms. Townsend needed police assistance with getting a ride to the community kitchen. Police assisted Ms. Townsend with a ride. Nothing further.

On 06/07/2020 at 12:04 hours, Officer Veloz (75390) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 5510 Highway 153. Upon arrival to the scene I located the victim named Timothy. Mr. Timothy stated that he was at the Gold's Gym at Highway 153 in Hixson to work out around 10am. When he came out to return to his vehicle he noticed that a small black 5.11 bag, which was located in the trunk of his vehicle was gone. The bag contained various items but also a firearm. Mr. Timothy did not have the SN for the firearm and will call back in to dispatch to provide it for this report. His vehicle did not appear to be damaged from the theft. Nothing further

Ballard (60157) reported a memo at 2410 Vine St. Jakobi Wright reported to police (Via phone) that a guy by the name of Gary aka "Yung Truu" would not stop asking her out. Ms. Wright stated they use to hangout but stop and he continues to text her through Facebook message asking her out again. Ms. Wright stated he finally told her ok and "He'll see her when he see her" Ms. Wright stated she just wanted a report on file.

3550 Cummings Hwy20-055544 6/7/2020 11:42:00AM 91Z Miscellaneous Information

On 06/07/2020 at 12:40 hours, Officer B.Smith (061120) responded to the Walmart Store located at 3550 Cummings Hwy. on a report of possible vandalism. The police arrived on scene and spoke to the complainant Mrs. Brandie McClendon, she said she believes some unknown person had slashed her back rear tire on her dark gray Suv causing it to go flat. The police looked at the tire and did not notice any damage caused by a cutting instrument, no puncture was observed. The police looked at the Walmart Security cameras and observed the complainant pull into the parking lot at 11:42 hrs., then at 12:09 hrs. a white male jumped out of a white car and placed a note on her windshield that said "FLAT TIRE". The person then walked back to their vehicle and drove off. At no time since the complainant arrived on scene did the cameras pick up any person vandalizing her vehicle. No incident occurred at the Walmart Store parking lot.

On 06/07/2020 at 13:45 hours, Officer Thomas (78350) reported a memo at 2800 Rossville Blvd. Both Mr. Ray Kennemer and Mr. Jewone Colvin got into a verbal argument at 2727 Rossville Blvd for a vehicle that was sold to Mr. Colvin. Mr. Kennemer stated that Mr. Colvin told him to fix his vehicle and he was not going to pay for the damages to the vehicle. Mr. Colvin told him "that he will see him at 2". Mr. Kennermer felt the need to contact Police and have it document in case Mr. Colvin showed up at 2 like he promised. Nothing further to report.

On 06/07/2020 at 14:20 hours, Officer Matthew Gerity (78344) responded to a Property Lost at 2772 4th Ave. RP stated that she is not aware when she lost the TN registration Tag to her vehicle or if it was stolen. RP is not aware of when or where it happened. Asfar as the RP understands she saw it yesterday and did not see it this morning. The Tennessee registration number on the vehicle is . The RP did not have suspect information or any information that would indicate the tag being stolen. The item was entered in as lost property at this time.

On 06/07/2020 at 16:12 hours, Officer Johnston (75394) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 21 Mcbrien Rd. I spoke with the complainant via phone. The complainant stated that her vehicle had been broken into and her wallet had been taken. The complainant stated that her social security card, TN ID, and her daughters social security card had been taken. She is unclear of her daughters SSN. The vehicle's driver window was damaged to gain entry of the vehicle. There is no suspect information at this time. Nothing else follows.

On 06/07/2020 at 17:15 hours, Officer Aaron Smith (83695) reported a memo at 1000 Interstate 75 SB. While on routine patrol at the above location, police observed a Silver Honda Accord abandoned on the right shoulder of the South bound lanes of travel. The vehicle had an expired TEMP tag and had no registered owner information. Police stickered the vehicle on this date. Nothing further.

On 06/07/2020 at 18:36 hours, Officer David Gerity (77574) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 4767 Highway 58.

At the time of my arrival I made contact with the caller, a Walter Fortson, who wanted to report damage to his vehicle. He stated he returned to his vehicle after doing laundry in the Coin Laundry and discovered damage to the rear bumper on the passenger side to his Red Chevrolet Camaro (TN ).

He stated he had no suspect info nor saw what happened.

A report was made for insurance purposes.

PLUNKETT (079536) responded to a Vandalism at 975 E 3rd St.Upon arrival, I spoke with the owner of the damaged vehicle two tires had been slashed in the Erlanger Main Hospital campus parking lot. The owner of the vehicle is identified as Ms. Sandra Lafever who stated that she arrived at work at 0615 hours and observed the damage around 1945 hours. Lafever stated that she notified Walden Security who then notified police. Upon further investigation multiple cars in the parking garage had been vandalized. There is no suspect information at this time as police are awaiting the Hospital to pull footage. Nothing further at this time.

The owner of the vehicle is identified as Mr. Mark Copeland who stated that he arrived at work at 0615 hours and observed the damage around 1945 hours. Copeland stated that he notified Walden Security who then notified police. Upon further investigation multiple cars in the parking garage had been vandalized. There is no suspect information at this time as police are awaiting the Hospital to pull footage. Nothing further at this time.

On 06/07/2020 at 22:35 hours, Officer Z. Tate (79893) responded to a Vandalism at 2705 S Orchard Knob Ave. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke to the victim, Haskell Darby. Mr. Darby stated that he was upstairs when he heard yelling coming from outside. He stated that as he came outside he saw a young black female throw a rock through his front window. Mr. Darby stated that he did not know the female and that he could not state why she would break his window. After talking to multiple parties on scene officers were told that the female's name was Alexia but no one could give a last name. No further at this time.

Mr. Gentry stated he left his vehicle at approximately 1825 hours and arrived to find his tires punctured and deflated the following morning at approximately 0200 hours. Mr. Gentry stated he does wish to prosecute.

On 06/07/2020 at 23:53 hours, Officer Williams (63838) reported a verbal disorder at 7255 Lee Hwy. Police met with Jessica Perry at 7300 Shallowford RD (KRYSTAL). Ms. Perry stated that she had been in a verbal disorder with her boyfriend Willie Truitt at the incident location. Ms. Perry stated that when she left the incident location in her vehicle, and Mr. Truitt began to follow her. Ms. Perry felt uneasy about Mr. Truitt following her, and called police. Ms. Perry Parked at the Krystal until police arrival. Mr. Truitt was not on scene. Ms. Perry asked if police would follow her back to the incident location to ease her mind. Police did follow Ms. Perry back without incident.

On 06/08/2020 at 00:30 hours, Ofc. Allison #237, Ofc. Wiegand #1104 were dispatched to a trespass at 4518 Hixson Pike. Upon arrival police spoke with the courtesy officer/complainant Gloria Williams. Ms. Williams stated that the vehicle of a party that was previously trespassed was once again back on the property in Apt. . Police spoke with the tenet Ana in who stated that the party was not there. Police ran the tag of the suspected vehicle and it was confirmed that this vehicle was not the one belonging to the trespassed party. Nothing further.

On 06/08/2020 at approximately 01:30 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) responded to a Vandalism at 975 E 3rd St. Upon arrival Officer made contact with Victim Ms. Delota Little. Ms. Little stated when she went to check on her vehicle (TN ) she observed her back driver's side tire had been punctured and deflated. Ms. Little did not have any suspect information. Ms. Little does want to press charges. Officer gave Ms. Little a case number for insurance purposes. No further at this time.

On 06/08/2020 at 07:50 hours, Officer Frazier (68396) reported a memo at 4823 Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival, police spoke with Robin Finch. Robin stated to police that she let her dog, a Datsun, out this morning to use the bathroom. At this point, a man later identified as Abram Young, was walking down the street. The dog ran after the man and Abram began supposedly chasing it with a hammer. The dog ran off and police located Abram who stated that he was just trying to exercise when the dog ran at him and he was just protecting himself. Police did not locate the dog but put out a bolo for it. No further.

On 06/08/2020 at 08:52 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Vandalism at 975 E 3rd St at Erlanger. The victim said that he is a doctor there and he left his vehicle parked in the parking garage there overnight from about 6:30 pm last night until about 8 am this morning. When he got back to the vehicle at 8 am, he discovered that all 4 tires had been slashed. He said that there are cameras at the entrance gate to the garage but there aren't any around where his vehicle was parked. No estimates have been done yet, so it is unknown if the damage is over or under $400 at this time. This report was taken by phone.

On 06/08/2020 at 14:26 hours, Officer William Bernitt (77564) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 8118 Hamilton Mill Dr. Police responded to 8117 Hamilton Mill Dr and spoke with Bo Harden who lives at above address. Ms. Kennedy did have analcoholic beverage beside her, but did not appear intoxicated at the moment and was fully aware of her surroundings. Ms. Kennedy was given a verbal warning regarding public intoxication, complied when asked to pour the alcoholic beverage out, and left the scene without further incident.

Ms. Pasley stated the suspect left the area in a dark colored sedan. I searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect. No evidence or further suspect information to collect. Ms. Wawra wished to turn the wallet into the police so it could be returned to its rightful owner. Upon looking at the credit card The name "Travis Knight" was on the front of it. Police used their resources to attempt to contact Mr. Knight with no success. The wallet and debit card were turned into property and will be held there unit Mr. Knight provides identification and comes to retrieve the property.

What makes this vehicle stand out is that it appears to be heavily vandalized and possibly lived in. I got out with this vehicle to see if there were any occupants and if they required aid. No parties were in or around the vehicle so I checked the VIN for stolen status. It came back negative for stolen but registered to a Carla Shankles with an expired tag of out of Rhea county. On 06/08/2020 at 18:07 hours, Officer D. Williams (84866) responded to a Vehicle Recovered Stolen Outside of Chattanooga at 1400 E 40th St., in response to an abandoned auto at this location. Upon arrival, a Gold Honda Civic (TN ) was observed parked behind a row of truck trailers at this location. I contacted info and verified the vehicle stolen out of Cleveland, TN, NIC: V282045133. The vehicle was searched, but only miscellaneous items were inside. It was reported that a handgun was stolen frominside the vehicle at the same time the vehicle was stolen, but no handgun was found. The vehicle was recovered and towed to A1 Towing at 3610 Calhoun Ave. Info attempted to contact the victim, Ms. Denise Johnson, but could not locate her information. Detectives with the department that took the initial stolen auto report were notified. Nothing further.

On 06/08/2020 at 18:17 hours, Officer N. Gurnsey (79875) was dispatched to check the well being of an individual at Home Depot, 7421 Commons Blvd. A Home Depot employee called Police after an older black male had been sitting inside Home Depot for approximately two hours. The caller stated the party appeared confused and wished for Police to check on him. Upon Police arrival to Home Depot, the party in question had already left the scene. An employee of Home Depot described him as a tall black male in his late fifties or sixties, wearing dark brown pants and a tan shirt with a floral pattern The party was also described as bald. According to the employee Police spoke with on scene this party used a telephone at the customer service desk, after speaking with an unknown party, the older man said he was at the wrong store and exited Home Depot. Police located a man matching the description provided by Home Depot on the sidewalk in front of Lowe's. He identified himself as Azrael Stovall. Mr. Stovall appeared lucid and sober. When asked if he needed Police assistance Mr. Stovall answered in the negative. He explained that his girlfriend was on her way to pick him up. Police made Lowe's management aware of Mr. Stovall, they stated they had no problem with Mr. Stovall waiting on the property.

Haley stated she worked Thursday night, June 4, and drove home Friday morning, June 5. Haley stated her car was parked on the second level of Erlanger Main Hospital. She stated when she arrived home her tire front passenger tire was flat. Haley brought her car in and the employee working on her tires stated she had two holes. Haley stated she just had new tires place on her vehicle on Monday, June 1. Haley also stated that because she drove home from work on a flat tire, her rim was damaged as well. Ms. Lattimore discovered around 1400 hrs. that her debit card, Way2Go Mastercard (5115582315861943), had an unauthorized electronic transaction in the amount of $585.00. Ms. Lattimore continued by stating the last authorized transaction from the card was for $780.00. This has become an ongoing problem with Ms. Lattimore's account and she needed the event documented for the Way2Go company. There is currently no suspect information.

I spoke with Amanda Ballard by telephone. She says that she found on 31 May, 20, an unauthorized pending transaction on her Bank of America checking account in the amount of $263.75. The transaction was through Walmart.com. She also stated that shortly afterword's, she was contacted by a debt collector about her Hixson Utility District bill.

She says that previously she had put a check in her mailbox for her water bill and it never cleared. She says apparently an unknown party had stoled the check out of her mailbox and used it to make an online transaction with Walmart.

Mrs Ballard says that she caught it while the transaction was still pending and Bank of America stopped the transaction from processing, thus she did not suffer a loss to her account. She says that her bank closed her account and opened her another account as a safety precaution.

I found the female subject in question and she was detained as she was observed skip scanning merchandise at the self checkout. I identified her as Ms. Lameteries Bonner. Ms. Bonner was brought to the back AP office and was found to have skip scanned $26.23 worth of merchandise. Ms. Bonner was very apologetic and stated it was an honest mistake. Walmart chose not to prosecute and allowed Ms. Bonner to purchase the items that were not scanned. No further.

On 06/10/2020 at 01:22 hours, Officer Gross (84850) reported a verbal disorder at 2808 Morgan Ave. Police spoke to Mr. Amiel Hughey who stated that he believed Ms. Audrey Reed had been smoking marijuana on their front porch and he wanted her to stop.Mr. Hughey and Ms. Reed are common law married, both parties stated that they have lived together for seven years. Ms. Reed stated that she does not smoke marijuana but she was smoking cigarettes. Police did not smell the smoke of marijuana, however the area did smell of cigarette smoke. On 06/10/2020 at approximately 02:20 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) responded to a Harassment All Others at 300 E 8th St. Upon arrival Officer made contact with Mr. Curtis Jeffries. Mr. Jeffries stated he had followed Ms. Heather Gaston to this location and attempted to enter the building. Mr. Jeffries stated did not want her to leave him by himself since he had no transportation home and felt it was her responsibility to provide him transportation.

Officer made contact with Mr. Christopher Orr, an employee at this location. Mr. Orr stated he saw Mr. Jeffries standing outside yelling at Ms. Gaston in a disorderly manner. Mr. Orr stated he let Ms. Gaston into the facility and Mr. Jeffries followed her inside still yelling at her. Mr. Orr stated he was able to get Mr. Jeffries outside, however Mr. Jeffries began to jerk on the door repeatedly in an attempt to open it. Mr. Orr spoke with his supervisor who requested Mr. Jeffries to be trespassed from this location.

Officer made contact with Ms. Gaston who stated Mr. Jeffries had been following her as she walked around downtown. Ms. Gastonstated she requested Mr. Jeffries to leave her along, however Mr. Jeffries persisted to follow her. Ms. Gaston stated finally escaped Mr. Jeffries by entering into the facility. Ms. Gaston stated even after she was inside, Mr. Jeffries insisted on staying in front of the door. Ms. Gaston stated she will press charges in the future if Mr. Jeffries attempts these actions again.

On 06/10/2020 at 04:30 hours, Officer Gross (84850) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 2024 E 23rd St. Police spoke with Richard Clowers who stated that his debit card was stolen 0800 06/09/20. Mr. Clowers stated that the Debit card in question was used 9 times while he was at work (between 0800 06/09/20 to 0400 06/10/20) totaling 70.29. Mr. Clowers showed police evidence that the debit card had been used at various local gas stations and also a grocery store. Police spoke to a cashier at the incident location (Waffle House on 23rd) who stated that they did not have the ability to view video, however their manager would email any photo evidence of the suspect using the debit card (approximately 0815) to police when able. Mr. Clowers stated that he believed the card was stolen and used by an acquaintance (Marty Keith). Police will update suspect information if the video evidence from Waffle House matches Mr. Keith. On 06/10/2020 at approximately 06:20 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) reported a memo at 773 W Main Street Ct. Officers received reports of an unknown 911 call at this location prior to arrival. Upon arrival, officers were approached by Mr. Jeremy Mullins. Mr. Mullins stated approximately 45 minutes prior to officers arrival, his friend Ms. Tiffany Farrior had walked into her apartment and had not exited. Mr. Mullins stated he and Ms. Farrior were going to be leaving, however, when she did not come back outside he approached the apartment to investigate. Mr. Mullins stated he heard crying and moaning and became concerned for Ms. Farrior's wellbeing and believed her unknown ex-boyfriend was in the apartment and could have heard her. Officers approached the apartment and made contact with Ms. Farrior who answered the door in a bath towel and covered in water. Officers cleared the apartment and determined she was alone and unharmed. Ms. Farrior stated she was in the shower and could not hear anyone at the door. When asked about the crying and moaning heard by Mr. Mullins, Ms. Farrior stated she had gotten sick to her stomach earlier in. Officers acknowledged there was no suspicious activity and no crime. She says there was nothing of value left in her vehicle. She says that the unknown rummaged through their unlocked 2005 BMW and stole the hidden ignition key. She says there was nothing else of value in the car.

She says they would like a watch list created because the key to the BMW was taken.

Apparently, there was a meeting in the room last Friday. The gun may belong to one of the persons which were present at that meeting. I had Police Information Channel to run the serial number on the gun. It is a North American Arms, Magnum 22, Chrome plate, S/N: PG24242. The gun did not come back stolen. Also, it is not registered to any person. The gun was submitted to the Chattanooga Police Property Division at 10:00 AM. No further.

She says that he required her credit card number and told her it would cost $495.00. She says that she told him that she has a service agreement through Lowe's.

She says he was insistent that she give him a credit card number and the security number on the back of the card. She says that she gave him that information and now feels as though she has been scammed. She is clear that she needs to cancel the card immediately.

I recommended that should there be any illegal transactions on the card that she needs to call back and file a separate credit card fraud report.

The suspects loaded the two units onto a box truck with the writing "Charlie T's Moving Service" on the side of the vehicle. Then, the two males parted ways, one drove away in the truck while the other boarded a bus. Mr. Dossett stated that he was driving south on Tunnel Blvd at approximately 40 miles an hour when the vehicle in front of him had to slam on the brakes due to the vehicle in frontof them slamming on the brakes. This caused Mr. Dossett to rear end the vehicle in front of him. Mr. Dossett stated that the person in front of him got out of the vehicle and started yelling at him but then got in the car and left. There was no damage to the front of Mr. Dossett's vehicle and the other driver did not stay to report any damages to their vehicle. Mr. Dossett and his passenger did noneed medical attention. Mr. Dossett just wanted to make a report so that it did not appear like he hit and ran. No further actions were taken by police at this time.

On 06/11/2020 at 06:20 hours I, Officer Foster (80775) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 173 Interstate 24 Westbound. Both parties were traveling west on I-24 when a piece of Styrofoam that was in the back of Juan Coche-Velásquez's truck flew outand hit the front of James Kurish's SUV. Both parties pulled over to the side of the interstate and waited on police to arrive. There were scratches to the front drivers side bumper, wheel of the Jeep and Mr. Kurish stated that he was receiving a front sensor warning when he started the vehicle. Mr. Kurish assessed the damage at $4,000. I was unable to confirm Mr. Coche-Velásquez's identity because the only ID he had was a Guatemalan ID card. Mr. Coche-Velásquez stated that he was conducting business for Toppers Roofing and Home Improvement out of Ringgold, Ga.

Brian wanted to just wait outside for a few hours untithings cooled off but Jackie wanted him gone. Brian gathered the majority of his things and I gave Brian a ride to the Pak Rat on Lee Hwy. This Don Miller was trying to get $2500.00 sent as guarantee for shipping of $2.5 million and a Ford Explorer.

Mr. Mike Purcell says that the caller was insistent but, Mr. Purcell would not agree to this.

There was no loss suffered by either Purcell. Mr. Mike Purcell stated that he has notified Siskin that the call came through the switchboard at the hospital.

I was dispatched to a disorder between the manager Ms. Tangelia Rains, which stated Ms. Tonyada Mayweather was at the service desk causing a scene. Ms. Rains stated Ms. Mayweather was upset because she wouldn't be allowed to get her belongings from her boyfriends room. Ms. Rain's explainedto Ms. Mayweather that she was not on the lease and the person on the lease told her she wouldn't be allowed in the room. Ms. Rain's also wanted me to trespass Ms. Mayweather from the property because of the disorder prior to my arrival. Ms. Mayweather was told she was officially trespassed from the location and left the area.

On 06/11/2020 at 19:34 hours, Officer M. Dunlop (84845) responded to a Property Found at 2912 4th Ave. Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant, Mr. David Hutsell, and owner of the home a Ms. Jessica Raby. Ms. Raby stated that her ex-boyfriend a Mr. Phillip Cureton has been coming around the house. She stated that she found a phone in the shed pointing towards the house and she thinks he put it there. She said she did not see him put it there, but she assumes that he did. She wasn't worried about him or that the phone was there. She stated that she just wanted to make a report about it. Police observed a black cell phone sitting in a whole in the roof of the shed facing the house. The phone was not on and would not turn on. Police asked all parties as this location if the phone belonged to them and they said no. Police obtained the cell phone and turned iinto property on this date. No further police action was taken.

On 06/11/2020 at 19:50 hours, Officer A. Irwin (82265) responded to a Shoplifting at 2020 Gunbarrel Rd. While working an extra job at this location, I was notified by the complainant Brenna Phoenix, who is with loss prevention, that a white male, had scanned all this items in his cart and then proceeded to walk out of the store without paying for the items. Ms. Phoenix confronted the suspect right outside the door and was able to recover a bluetooth speaker valued at $79. The suspect was able to get away with about 10 items totaling $59.50. I have attached a photo of the suspect to this report. Nothing further.

On 06/11/2020 at 22:45 hours, Officer Andrew Hayes (84851) responded to a Vandalism at 1110 Market St. Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant, Fernando Perez, who stated that a white male with a red jacket and jeans with a ball cap was attemptingto steal a Chevrolet Pickup truck. Perez stated that the suspect walked to the vehicle and pulled a drill and a screwdriver out of a green back pack that he was carrying and used it to drill out the ignition inside the vehicle. When Perez approached the suspect to talk to him the suspect fled the scene. Perez was able to get video footage of the suspect but police could not positively identify thesuspect. Police ran the tag on the pickup truck and it was found to be registered to a Beverley Mooney out of Ringgold, GA but theywere not on scene and police were unable to make contact with her. Police left a complaint card in the front seat of the vehicle withinstructions written on the back on how Mooney should proceed once she returns to the vehicle.

Police were dispatched to a suspicious bag at 1118 Broad St. Police arrived and noticed a green back pack abandoned behind a pillar. Police believe that this bag was involved with the Vandalism at 1110 Market St due to it containing a drill and screwdriver as well as a helmet and fire crackers. 2A09 transported the bag and its contents to property.

I was dispatched to this location and did a recovery of the stolen vehicle. The owner was out of town and requested that the vehicle be towed. There was finger prints visible on the inside of the windows. However, due to the owner being unable to arrive on scene to let me dust for prints I couldn't take any prints. The vehicle was removed from NCIC Nothing further.

On 06/12/2020 at 10:34 hours, Officer Veloz (75390) responded to a Theft from person at 4841 hixson pike. Upon arrival to the scene I was greeted by Kevin Gann. Mr. Gann was very animated and visbly upset. He explained to me that he had someone stealfrom him. According to Mr. Gann, an unknown suspect, who earlier accused him of breaking into their car, took his money. Mr. Gann showed them the video of from the hotel which revealed that he had not taken anything or was involved. However, the unknown suspect didn't believe him. When Mr. Gann placed his bags from his hotel stay from the night before onto a cart the unknown suspects took his phones that were on top of the vehicle. Mr. Gann chased them out of the hotel and followed them in a vehicle towards Highway 58. He was unable to identify them. However, he did ping his cell phone which came back to an address 1416 Awhila Dr. I tried to have a Charlie team unit go out there but they were stacked on calls all day. I have no further information on the suspects of this theft at this time.

On 06/12/2020 at 23:30 hours, Officer Dropp (675) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Theft from Building at 4841 hixson pike. At 15:30 hours officers were dispatched to a disorder in the 6800 block of Gayda Ln. Before police arrived on scene, the reporting party called in to police at 15:40 hours, stating that he had tracked his phone's ping to the 6800 block of Gayda Ln. He stated that he approached the location where his phone was pinging and an unknown party at that location gave him his phone back. He stated that he no longer needed police and left the scene.

i spoke with Mr. Fred Newton by telephone. He says that on Tuesday 09 June, 2020, he purchased a new Hewitt Packard printer and took it home to install. He says that installation required internet access. He says that he was lead to 123HP.com. He says that as he tried to install the drivers the website told him that an error which corrupted his software had occurred and he needed to call

Mr. Newton says that a male claiming to be Jordan Cunningham with a thick Asian accent answered. He says that this Cunningham party told him that in order to overcome the errors he made, he needed to go and purchase 5 $200.00 gift cards and enter the numbers on the website. Mr. Newton says that he complied and when entering the gift card numbers the asian told him that he had made an error and would have to purchase 5 more gift cards at $100.00 each to re-enter those card numbers.

Mr.Newton says again he complied. He says that the asian again told him he made mistakes and would have to get another $1500.00 in gift cards to continue. Mr. Newton says this is when he realized he had been scammed.

Ms. Carpenter showed me the video footage and it showed the two getting into a Chrysler 300 with a TN . I gave Ms. Carpenter a complaint card and left the scene. The manager, Mekell Patterson, would like the females told that if they return to the property, they will be charged with Trespassing. I was told that one female is Takayla Hudson and possibly the Taquesha Hudson as well. I was unable to make contact with the Hudson's at the address provided on the vehicle registration due to call load.

Ms. Green reported her mother, Betty Moore, did not answer the door when her stepdaughter came to pick her at 1230hrs. Ms. Green reported several attempts where made to reach Ms. Moore, but where unsuccessful. Ms. Green reported she was concern her mother maybe inside needing help. Ms. Green give permission to force entry into the residence. CPD Fire Department responded and forced open the front security door and a main entry door. Ms. Moore was not located inside. Prior to police leaving, Ms. Moore showed up with a friend, who had come to pick her up.

On 06/12/2020 at 15:56 hours, Officer S.Long (79892) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 2018 Galahad Rd. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant/victim Mr. Johnny Cantrell. Mr. Cantrell stated that he is doing construction in this area and had his company truck sitting off the side of the road at the above address. While the truck was stationary, the paved roadway gave way from underneath the truck and the truck sank into the roadway/ground about a foot deep. The truck sustained extensive undercarriage damage and broke axles as the truck almost tipped over on its side. Public Works was notified of the status of the road. No further at this time.

Smith stated she told Wynn to leave her porch in which he became upset. Smith stated Wynn hit her AC unit with a baseball bat and broke her satellite dish. Police observed damage to the AC unit and the satellite dish. Police were unable to find further suspect information. No further.

On 06/12/2020 at 19:58 hours, Officer Seech (79539) reported a memo at N Hickory St / Wilson St. While traveling west in the 2000 Block of Portland Street I witnessed a dark gray/blue Volkswagen Passat with a temp tag burn out as it crossed Roanoke Avenue and then appear to drive normally. The vehicle then turned Northbound on North Orchard Knob Avenue. I was able to get behind the vehicle at Wilson Street and North Hickory Street where a traffic stop was initiated. At this time the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed traveling southbound on North Hickory Street before turning East onto Portland Street. The vehicle appeared to be occupied by a younger black male with shorter hair. At this time I disengaged my emergency equipment and turned around. No further information is known about the driver or vehicle at this time. These events occurred within the city limits of Chattanooga, TN.

The Pizza Hut having been closed recently is a prime location for metal scrappers. I conducted a brief interview with Mr. Hill and verified his metal to make sure nothing had been taken from the closed business. Once the investigation was complete he left without incident. Police spoke with Cassie Rutherford who was sleeping outside of the Mapco gas station on Highway 58. Police verified Ms. Rutherford's identity and then spoke with Mr. Jeffrey Deyhle who was loitering on the property. After verifying Mr. Deyhle's identity police spoke with the complainant (Eric Jackson) who is an employee at Mapco who stated that he did not wish to have Mr. Deyhle or Ms. Rutherford trespassed, he just wanted them to leave the property. Police then transported Mr. Deyhle and Ms. Rutherford to 5592 Congress Ln where they stated that they had a friend that they could stay with. Nothing further at this time.

Complainant (Donavan Haven) stated he and his brother (Nick Haven) were arguing over business arrangements and things became heated. Complainant stated he and girlfriend (Sandra Avila) reside in a travel trailer here on his brothers property and his brother (Nick) does not get along with his girlfriend. In speaking with brother and property owner (Nick Haven) he stated last week (Donavan) left for Texas and was told not to bring (Sandra) back to the property. Nick stated things became heated when Sandra attempted to come in his house this morning , knowing she is not allowed inside. After things calmed down, Donavan was attempting to find a rental truck to pull one of the two trailers on the property. All parties agreed to remain calm and stay away from each other while (Donavan) attempts to remove his trailers.

On 06/13/2020 at 14:10 hours, Officer Brelsford (77566) responded to a Theft from Building at 2288 Gunbarrel Rd. Police spoke with store manager Diane Cantrell. She stated that an older white male, mid 50s, walked out of the store with a buggy of items without paying. He had loaded up the buggy with around 12 boxes of frozen shrimp that retail for around 30 dollars, depending on weight. The man then entered an older green Ford Explorer with a broken rear window that had black tape around it. No more suspect information is available at this time. EOR

On 06/13/2020 at 15:25 hours, Officer J. Fincher (84846) reported a memo at 5505 Brainerd Rd. Police made contact with an employee at the Motel 6, Jason Sanford. Mr. Sandford stated he had recently removed an individual from a room and place the items outside of the room. Mr. Sanford stated an unknown white male wearing a black hat and a black bag attempted to take the items he placed out of the room. Mr. Sandford stated he had never seen the male before. Police were unable to locate the male party. No further.

6231 Perimeter Dr20-057748 6/13/2020 2:00:00PM 23C Shoplifting

On 06/13/2020 at 15:45 hours, Officer Dropp (675) responded to a Theft at 6231 Perimeter Dr. Upon arrival officers made contact with Marlee Clark, an employee at the above address. Ms. Clark stated that earlier in the day around 14:30 hours, two unknown parties entered the business and proceeded to conceal and steal merchandise from the store. Ms. Clark stated that they were in the store for no more than two minutes, but also stated that she recognized them as the same parties who have come in previouslyon other occasions and stolen merchandise as well. Ms. Clark stated that the last time these parties came in and stole merchandise employees were unable to see what tag number was on their vehicle, but this time she was able to take a picture of it. The picture taken showed a white Chevy HHR with a TN . At this time, the suspects of the theft have not been identified. Nothing further to report at this time.

On 06/13/2020 at 17:45 hours, Sgt. Randy Raulston (391/61654) reported a memo at 1094 N Hawthorne St. Apt. A. I spoke with Ms. Williams at 2285 Wilcox Blvd. about what had happened at 1094 N. Hawthorne St. Ms. Williams said she had been in a verbal disorder with her son in law and daughter Labrisha Sanders. Ms. Williams said the argument started over Ms. Williams and her other daughter Seliyah Burnette coming by unannounced. Mr. Sanders took offense to it and an argument followed. Ms. Williams said they have never had issues in the past and wanted the incident documented.

On 06/13/2020 at 18:26 hours, Officer E. Lee (885) reported a memo at 4800 Old Mission Rd. Upon arrival I was met by the complainant Ms. Mary Watkins, which stated she was almost struck by a Toyota 4Runner (TN ) in the 4800 block of Old Mission Rd. Ms. Watkins stated she avoided the reckless 4Runner by going off the road. Ms. Watkins stated there was no damage to her Gold Nissan Altima (GA ), but wanted to document that she was almost in an accident. The 4Runner continued to travel on Old Mission Rd after running a stop sign. Nothing further.

On 06/13/2020 at 19:50 hours, Chattanooga Police Bomb Squad responded to 6101 Lee Hwy (Sam's Club) on a suspicious package call. Several anonymous callers notified the store of a briefcase in the parking lot unattended. The business was evacuated prior to Bomb Squad arrival. CPD Bomb Squad responded and rendered the briefcase safe. Inside the case were papers and other personal items. Police spoke with the manager Earline Green and notified her that everything was ok. The business returned back to normal. No further action taken.

On 06/13/2020 at 19:25 hours, Chattanooga Police Bomb Squad was called to assist HCSO on an explosive recovery. Upon arrival FTO Silva (CPD Bomb Squad) spoke with the complainant Lisa Erwin, who stated her Son Levi Kibble found what appeared to be a grenade in the front garden. Lisa stated Levi was doing yard work in the front garden, and while digging he hit what he thought was a hand grenade. CPD Bomb Squad found the grenade to be hollowed out and was rendered safe. CPD Bomb Squad took possession of the grenade and transported it to CPD range for disposal. No further action taken.

On 06/13/2020 at 20:15 hours, Officer J. Waltero (79887) responded to a miscellaneous complaint at 211 W 17th St. Once on scene, I made contact with Yvette Sanders.

Ms. Sanders stated she has been having issues with her neighbors. Ms. Sanders stated they are always having parties. Ms. Sanders stated she was in her kitchen when she noticed a vehicle driving through the lawn to get to the road. Ms. Sanders wants areport done for a housing complaint.

On 06/13/2020 at 11:15 hours, Officer Gross (84850) responded to a Property Found at 3909 Bowman Ln. Police spoke with Barry Stone who stated that he had found a firearm in his front yard but did not know who owned the revolver. Police viewed a Colt revolver (SN:263662) in Mr. Stones yard. Police verified that the firearm was stolen out of Michigan. Michigan Police will remove the firearm from NCIC (#G291893480). Police took the firearm to property. Nothing further at this time.

On 06/14/2020 at 00:10 hours, Officer J. Fincher (84846) reported a memo at 6220 Lee Hwy. Police were dispatched to the area for a wellness check for a black male in the roadway. Police made contact with the male and identified him as Gary Jones. Mr. Jones told police he has difficulty seeing. Police asked Mr. Jones if he would like to be transported to a hotel and Mr. Jones stated he would. Police transported Mr. Jones to the Best Western Heritage Inn at 7641 Lee Hwy. Police made contact with an anonymous citizen at the hotel who stated he would care for Mr. Jones. No further police action was required.

On 06/15/2020 at 13:19 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 5575 Hixson Pike at a Car Wash. The victim said that she had taken her vehicle through there last Friday or Saturday around 10 or 11 am and the paper temporary tag on the back window was accidentally washed off. She said she had forgotten to take it off before letting the car go thru. This report was taken by phone.

Upon arrival I made contact with Mr. Edwards, complainant, who stated sometime over the weekend someone had damaged the chain link fence and its covering. On 06/16/2020 at 16:40 hours, Officer B. baker (79856) responded to a Theft from Building at 816 Aubrey Ave. I spoke with Tumlin who stated that his house is on the market and on Saturday between 1615 to 1830, his Realtor had multiple viewings lined up. At some point during the viewings, someone may have taken his S&W handgun, serial #VJB8144. The handgun has been entered into NCIC # G215005785. Tumlin is gathering a list of everyone that came into the home and will call back with the information. Nothing further at this time.

On 06/16/2020 at 18:00 hours, Officer Christopher Liberto (79560) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 200 Browns Ferry Rd. Upon arrival, I spoke with Ms. Julie Ashburn who stated that on 06/12/2020 at about 1400 hours, her Samsung Cell Phone ($300 in value) was taken from the back of the managers office. Ms. Ashburn stated that her manager would have to be there to allow police to review the tapes and try to identify who the suspect was. Ms. Asburn stated that the last 2 people she knew that were in the officer were a Josh party or a Lee party. I went and spoke with the josh party who stated he had no idea who took her phone. Nothing further at this time.

On 06/11/2020 at 09:12 hours, Officer B. Martin (62436) reported a memo at 4510 Hixson Pike. Upon arrival I located a damaged broken down vehicle on the parking lot of US Tax Solutions. I spoke to John King, proprietor of US Tax Solutions, who told me that the vehicle was parked on his property when he arrived for work. King said the vehicle was parked in a spot that led him to believe,someone was trying to hide it. I agreed but dispatch was unable to find any bolo's for this vehicle. King said he would tow it after a couple of days if it had not been moved. No further action was needed.
