TOP SECRET is a theatrical, coded message in 20:33 of Music. The followingoutline will assist the creative team and singer/dancers in understanding the line ndstaging of the story.

SCENE 1: STREET

Ushers dressed as 1940’s gangsters... no zoot suits please, have escorted the audienceto their seats. The auditorium is decorated for that time period. A pre-recorded tapeof the band warming up is played quietly over the house system. The curtain opensabruptly. We see a telephone booth, neon street signs, one of them reading, SATINCLUB . It is dark, foggy, mysterious.

Alec Capri, our hero, is center stage. He has one ear to the phone, the other to a boxwrapped in brown paper.

As the curtain opens, the 4 Moroccans are moving off stage. The Mysterious GirlAgent watches from the distance.

ALEC (on phone)“This thing is ticking!”
