He presented vocal concerts from age 5, chitravina recitals since 11 and performed nonstop for 24 hours at the age of 18. Recognized widely for his award-winning concept Melharmony, Ravikiran has collaborated with top world music artists and Western Classical Orchestras. Bhargavi Balasubramanian: Born to a culturally rich family, Bhargavi, disciple of Chitravina Ravikiran, is a committed performer and guru in both vocal and instrumental music. She has performed extensively in various cities in India as well as in USA and Canada, been featured in albums and TV shows and trained students as a member of faculty of her guru's International Foundation for Carnatic Music. Sangeeta Kalanidhi, Sangeeta Ratnakara Professor Trichy Sankaran is a legendary percussion virtuoso, and the founding director of Indian music studies at York University. He has enthralled audiences at major festivals in India, SouthEast Asia, Europe, Australia and North America, teaming up with top rank artists of both Carnatic and Hindustani music. He has bridged eastern and western styles and has influenced generations of students. He has authored scholarly papers and books, and received numerous awards for his University teaching and excellence in his chosen field. Smt. Akkarai S Shubhalakshmi: Trained initially by her father Akkarai Swaminathan, and vocalists O V Subramaniam and P S Narayanaswamy, Shubhalakshmi was brought to the forefront of her field under the guidance of Chitraveena N Ravikiran. She has performed in India, USA, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Bahrain, UK, Singapore and Canada. Smt Subhalakshmi has been conferred with numerous awards including the Kala Rathna, Bismillah Khan Award, TAG Award, Rajiv Gandhi Youth Award, Shanmukhananda Award and Kalki Award, and Rajiv Gandhi Youth Award.
