The St. Clair R-XIII School District is seek-ing bids for the provision of propane gas to District locations, and for propane service. The successful bid-der will be required to set, fill, repair, maintain, and change-out tanks as neces-sary. At the end of the con-tract period, any amount the District has paid for propane unused by the District shall be refunded by check to the District within thirty days of the end of the contract pe-riod, unless the contractor is awarded the contract for the subsequent year.

The contract period is from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021.

Prices quoted shall include all handling, travel, taxes, charges and expenses for the propane and above listed services. Currently, the Dis-trict has propane service at the following locations:

Franklin County Coopera-tive (2) 1,000-gallon tanks

District Office (1) 600-gal-lon tank

Hostess Building (1) 1,000-gallon tank

The District’s annual consumption is estimated between 10,000 and 20,000 gallons.

The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertinent to the provision of propane gas and services.

Proposals should include the following:

•  Fixed cost per gallon of propane gas (to include cost to set, fill, repair, maintain and change-out tanks as necessary)

•  Tank rental cost•  Repair cost per hour•  Cost to remove propane 

and tanks at the end of the contract period

NOTICE OF RABIES CLINIC

DOG AND CAT OWNERSFor the protection of the

community it was ordered by the Council of the City of Washington, Missouri, that all dogs and cats be vaccinat-ed against rabies, and tags be worn by dogs and cats so vaccinated, and the certifi-cates thereof filed with the City Clerk shall be in lieu of all licenses and payment of license fees.

In order that all owners of dogs and cats may have their dogs and cats vaccinated it was decided to set up a clinic at the Merchants Pavilion in the Fairgrounds between the hours of 4:00 and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, and Thursday, June 18, 2020, at which time vet-erinarians will vaccinate the dogs and cats against rabies and issue the tags and cer-tificates.

for each dog or cat vacci-nated.

Persons must be over 17 years of age to register a dog or cat.

WARNING: If a rabies epidemic occurs in the City of Washington, dogs and cats caught not wearing a 2020 inoculation tag will be held 72 hours. If the owner does not claim the dog or cat and make payment of fees during the 72 hours, such dog or cat shall be destroyed.
