As Peter reached the house, Cornelius went out to meet him, fell at his feet and bowed low. But Peter lifted him up saying:

Peter then spoke to them saying:“Truly, I come to realise that God does not show partiality,

While Peter was still speaking, the Holy Spirit came down upon

who had accompanied Peter were all

for they heard them speaking in tongues and proclaiming the greatness of God!

Then Peter declared:

“Can anyone refuse the water

of Baptism to these people,

now that they have received the Holy Spirit

just as we have?”

So he ordered for them to be baptised in the Name

of Jesus Christ. After that

they asked him to remain

with them for some days.

God’s love for us was revealed when God sent His Only Son into the world that we may
