Les Chalets de Philippe is positioned perfectly on the south-facing hillside of Le Lavancher, ensuring day-long sunshine all year round. From this exceptional location, Philippe’s seven eco-chalets are sat in perfect harmony with its alpine surroundings and looks down on the beautiful Chamonix valley as well as directly facing the majestic Mont Blanc.

The chalets and mazots have been restored with meticulous care and attention, and feature beautiful antique furnishings, exquisite decorations and many paintings by the “masters of the mountain”.

When night falls our hamlet is illuminated and at your feet, Chamonix sparkles in the heart of the valley.

There are many activities in the surrounding area to keep you busy, in summer you have a choice of many beautiful mountain paths, including a 30 minute walk to “La mer de Glace” glacier; and in winter, you are at the end of the famous off-piste run “la Pendant” (which starts in Les Grands-Montets). As a true natural mountain balcony, Les Chalets de Philippe has uninterrupted views of the Mont-Blanc, Les Drus, Le Brévent, La Flégère, and close by you’ll find the forest and its clearing, where you may see Reindeer and other local wildlife.

Both bed and bath linen are provided, all of which are of the highest quality. In winter bed sheets are flannel and in summer, embroidered cotton. Hermès toiletries can be found in all bathrooms and en-suites. All chalets are equipped with televisions, safes and Wifi internet connection. On your terrace you will find a private hot-tub (water 38º) with views of the Mont-Blanc, wooden table and chairs, a sun umbrella and a barbecue. Also at your disposal, a “Hammam” (steam room) chalet, Home cinema chalet and a large 17th Century dining room that can seat up to 14 people.

Guests are welcome to take advantage of our catered services and have your meals cooked by our Chef and delivered to your chalet. For those who want to watch our chef as he works, you can ask for your favourite meals to be cooked for you in your chalet.

Soon to complete our hamlet, there will be a chapel, a heated lake and several new chalets all run by solar power.

This hamlet of seven chalets on a hillside just outside Chamonix is impossibly cute. Chalet "Les Trolles is a two-storey beauty with a tub large enough to swim in. Philippe was a great host, never too busy to direct us to a ski area, or tell us the story of his chalets. Philippe also collected Alpine antique furniture, most of which seemed to be in our chalet. More contemporary details included a vast American-style fridge, WIFI access and a flat screen T.V;It was blissfully secluded, quiet and romantic. The temptation to stay in our chalet was strong.
