71 Ellerby Street in Fulham saw the addition of a new basement, side and rear extensions, loft extension and a complete internal refur-bishment. As architects the Client had asked Shape Architecture for a design that maximised space and natural light, coupled with a strong connection between the Kitchen and Garden. Full height glass folding doors open from the kitchen onto the garden and a glass bridge connects the two. This is linked to the sunken lightwell with a glass sided stair. There is a great sense of natural light and a strong connection between the inside
and the outside.
