Conflict in the Middle AgesInstructions on writing your book
• Students are creating a book about Conflict in the Middle Ages.
• The book will contain 5 chapters that show areas where there was conflict.
• These topics can include religious differences, cultural differences, struggles for power, territorial claims, etc.
• All must show a connection to conflict however.
Panel 1 - CoverIncludes:• the Book title
“Conflict in the Middle Ages”
• illustration or collage relating to the topic of the Middle Ages
• author’s name
Panel 2 should include:• Table of Contents
with 5 Chapters (two chapters that MUST be included are chapters about the Crusades and the Plague)
• Reflection – Tells what you learned having put this book together, etc.

Panel 3 – 7• Chapters are written
on each panel to include:
• Chapter Title• Material should show a
connection to how the subject led to conflict in the Middle Ages
• Material should describe the conflict that was created and how it was resolved
• Material should address the effects of the conflict and its resolution
• Major figures, key vocabulary, dates where necessary and appropriate
Panel 8Citation of resources - Resources should include:
• Textbook• Jr. Scholastic• At least 2 internet
sources (NOT TO INCLUDE WIKIPEDIA)
