Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

�� ح�يم الر� ح!من� الر� الله� � م �س! ب

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ام'ة� !ق�ي ال � 'و!م �ي ب م- -ق!س� أ ال'

[75:1] Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection.

�و�ام'ة� الل �ف!س� �الن ب م- -ق!س� أ و'ال'

[75:2] Nay! I swear by the self-accusing soul.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ع�ظ'ام'ه- 'ج!م'ع' ن �ن 'ل أ ان- �نس' اإل! 'ح!س'ب- 'ي أ

[75:3] Does man think that We shall not gather his bones?

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ه- 'ان 'ن ب و@ي' Aس' ن 'ن أ ع'ل'ى ق'اد�ر�ين' 'ل'ى ب

[75:4] Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

م'ام'ه- ' أ 'ف!ج-ر' �ي ل ان- �نس' اإل! -ر�يد- ي 'ل! ب

[75:5] Nay! man desires to give the lie to what is before him.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ام'ة� !ق�ي ال 'و!م- ي �ان' 'ي أ 'ل- أ 'س! ي

[75:6] He asks: When is the day of resurrection?

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ص'ر- !ب ال 'ر�ق' ب �ذ'ا ف'إ

[75:7] So when the sight becomes dazed,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

!ق'م'ر- ال و'خ'س'ف'

[75:8] And the moon becomes dark,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

!ق'م'ر- و'ال م!س- الش� و'ج-م�ع'

[75:9] And the sun and the moon are brought together,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

Aم'ف'ر! ال !ن' 'ي أ Sذ� 'و!م'ئ ي ان- �نس' اإل! 'ق-ول- ي

[75:10] Man shall say on that day: Whither to fly to?

ر' و'ز' ال' 'ال� ك

[75:11] By no means! there shall be no place of refuge!

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

Aق'ر' ت !م-س! ال Sذ� 'و!م'ئ ي @ك' ب ر' �ل'ى إ

[75:12] With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest.

ر' 'خ� و'أ ق'د�م' �م'ا ب Sذ� 'و!م'ئ ي ان- �نس' اإل! - �أ 'ب -ن ي

[75:13] Man shall on that day be informed of what he sent before and (what he) put off.

ة\ 'ص�ير' ب ه� 'ف!س� ن ع'ل'ى ان- �نس' اإل! 'ل� ب

[75:14] Nay! man is evidence against himself,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ه- م'ع'اذ�ير' !ق'ى 'ل أ 'و! و'ل

[75:15] Though he puts forth his excuses.

�ه� ب 'ع!ج'ل' �ت ل 'ك' ان �س' ل �ه� ب ك! -ح'ر@ ت ال'

[75:16] Do not move your tongue with it to make haste with it,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ه- آن و'ق-ر! ج'م!ع'ه- 'ا !ن 'ي ع'ل �ن� إ

[75:17] Surely on Us (devolves) the collecting of it and the reciting of it.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ه- آن ق-ر! �ع! �ب ف'ات 'اه- !ن أ ق'ر' �ذ'ا ف'إ

[75:18] Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation.

'ه- 'ان 'ي ب 'ا !ن 'ي ع'ل �ن� إ -م� ث

[75:19] Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'ة' ل !ع'اج� ال Aون' ب -ح� ت 'ل! ب 'ال� ك

[75:20] Nay! But you love the present life,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ة' خ�ر' اآل! ون' 'ذ'ر- و'ت

[75:21] And neglect the hereafter.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ة\ �اض�ر' ن Sذ� 'و!م'ئ ي و-ج-وه\

[75:22] (Some) faces on that day shall be bright,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ة\ 'اظ�ر' ن @ه'ا ب ر' �ل'ى إ

[75:23] Looking to their Lord.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ة\ ر' 'اس� ب Sذ� 'و!م'ئ ي و'و-ج-وه\

[75:24] And (other) faces on that day shall be gloomy,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ة\ ف'اق�ر' �ه'ا ب -ف!ع'ل' ي 'ن أ Aظ-ن' ت

[75:25] Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

اق�ي' �ر' الت 'غ'ت! 'ل ب �ذ'ا إ 'ال� ك

[75:26] Nay! When it comes up to the throat,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

Sاق ر' م'ن! و'ق�يل'

[75:27] And it is said: Who will be a magician?

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

اق- !ف�ر' ال �ه- ن' أ و'ظ'ن�

[75:28] And he is sure that it is the (hour of) parting

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

اق� �الس� ب اق- الس� 'ف�ت� !ت و'ال

[75:29] And affliction is combined with affliction;

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

اق- !م'س' ال Sذ� 'و!م'ئ ي @ك' ب ر' �ل'ى إ

[75:30] To your Lord on that day shall be the driving.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

ص'ل�ى و'ال' ص'د�ق' ف'ال'

[75:31] So he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'و'ل�ى و'ت 'ذ�ب' ك 'ك�ن و'ل

[75:32] But called the truth a lie and turned back,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

'م'ط�ى 'ت ي �ه� 'ه!ل أ 'ى �ل إ ذ'ه'ب' -م� ث

[75:33] Then he went to his followers, walking away in haughtiness.

و!ل'ى ' ف'أ 'ك' ل و!ل'ى

' أ

[75:34] Nearer to you (is destruction) and nearer,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

و!ل'ى ' ف'أ 'ك' ل و!ل'ى

' أ -م� ث

[75:35] Again (consider how) nearer to you and nearer.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

س-دrى ك' !ر' -ت ي 'ن أ ان- �نس' اإل! 'ح!س'ب- 'ي أ

[75:36] Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim?

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

-م!ن'ى ي sي� م�ن م@ن rط!ف'ة- ن 'ك- ي 'م! 'ل أ

[75:37] Was he not a small seed in the seminal elements,

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

و�ى ف'س' ف'خ'ل'ق' rق'ة' ع'ل 'ان' ك -م� ث

[75:38] Then he was a clot of blood, so He created (him) then made (him) perfect.

Surah al-Qiyaama (The Resurrection)

-نث'ى و'األ! 'ر' الذ�ك !ن� ي و!ج' الز� !ه- م�ن ف'ج'ع'ل'

[75:39] Then He made of him two kinds, the male and the female.

�ي' ي -ح! ي 'ن أ �ق'اد�رSع'ل'ى ب �ك' ذ'ل !س' 'ي 'ل أ'ى !م'و!ت ال

[75:40] Is not He able to give life to the dead?
