7P DOC: 0.020"- 0.100" FPR: 0.002" - 0.008" Good general purpose geometry for positive inserts, Designed to work in a broad range of materials in conjunction with the Universal grade RU325P. Produces excellent results at low depth of cut and low feed rates. may be used in steel and stainless steel. Indexable Carbide Inserts Insert Grade InformationAS10T (M10, S10) - Grade for turning of titanium. Selected temperature stable carbide plus TiBN - Plasma coating.

AS15 (S05-S20) - Special submicron grade for machining super alloys such as Inconel, titanium, etc., particularly suitable for interrupted cut. Also suitable for austenitic stainless steel.

AS20T (M20, S20) - Tough alternative grade to AS15 for machining of super alloys as Inconel, Hastelloy, Waspaloy, etc.

RTK10 (K05-K15) - For turning chilled cast iron, grey cast iron with spheroidal graphite and alloyed grey cast iron as well as for aluminium and aluminium alloys. Turning high grade and hardened steels, also for austenitic manganese steels.

RM25TC (M25, P25) - Turning grade for austenitic stainless steels in medium and high cutting speeds.

RM35D (M25-M35) - Main grade for turning of austenitic stainless steels at medium to high cutting speeds, Vc = up to 490 sfm. Applicable also for super alloys.

RM40TC (M40, S40) - Very tough stainless grade for low cutting speeds suitable, also as alternative applicable on steel and super alloys.

RK10 (K10-K15) - Cast iron grades in K10 range, optimum for machining cast iron in an uninterrupted cut.

RK20 (K15-K25) - Cast iron turning grade for the area K15. Optimal for machining GG- and GGG- materials. Possible cutting speeds for GG up to 1300 sfm.

RM20TC (HC-M20, HC-S20) - This grade and the new TMM chip breaker with chip impact protector are perfect for high cutting speeds between 560 and 720 SFM. RM20TC ensures high stability against plastic deformation, even at high cutting feeds.

RP15TC (P10-P25, K10-K25) - Grade for highest cutting speeds for fine to medium turning, Vc = 590 - 980 sfm. Due to the special K coating this grade is extremely wear resistant. For continuous cut. As alternative, also applicable with cast iron.

RP25TC (P15-P35, M15-M35) - (Universal Turning Grade.) Main grade for machining steel materials and easily machinable stainless steels at medium cutting speeds. Vc = 490 - 720 sfm, for light interrupted cut. This general purpose grade is characterized by the properties of high durability and excellent toughness across a wide range of applications.

RP40K (P25-P40, M25-M40) - A combination of an extremely tough carbide with the new "Nanolock MT-CVD layer". Guarantees maximum performance in heavy interrupted cutting. Vc = up to 490 sfm.

RP315C (P10-P20) - “First Choice” for Finishing Applications in Steel (ISO P Materials). Triple-Coated MT-CVD Grade with Superfine TiCN, Thick Alp3, and Ultra-Smooth TiN. Gradient-sintered high performance cemented carbide substrate with very high wear resistance. Performs extremely well in continuous cutting conditions and stable set-ups.

RP425C (P20-P30) - Suitable for Medium Turning Applications in Steel (ISO P Materials). Triple-Coated MT-CVD Grade with Superthick TiCN, Optimized Alp3, and Ultra-Smooth TiN. Gradient-sintered all-round performance cemented carbide substrate with excellent balance of wear resistance and toughness. Covers a wide application range, from semi-finishing to light roughing of Steels and continuous cutting to moderate interruptions. Also recommended for workpieces with scale.

RP335C (P30-P40) - Designed for difficult Roughing Applications in Steel (ISO P Materials). Superior fracture toughness and wear resistance. MT-CVD Triple-Layer Coating with smooth surface and excellent fracture resistance. Gradient-sintered high performance cemented carbide substrate with exceptional toughness properties. Well suited for medium to heavy interrupted cuts and other unstable application conditions.

RU325P (P20-P30, M20- M30) - Universal Turning Grade. Primary application in Steel, with wide performance range in multiple materials. TiAIN NanoStructure PVD Coated grade. Sub-Micron carbide substrate with outstanding combination of wear resistance and toughness behavior. Excellent Choice for All-Round grade that performs in an extremely wide variety of workpiece materials.

RS315P (M10-M20, S10-S20) - The first Grade to use for Finishing Applications in Stainless Steel (ISO M Materials). Also suitable for finish turning iron-based, cobalt-based and nickel-based Heat Resistant Super Alloys. PVD Advanced TiAIN Coated Grade with superior heat-resistance and oxidation-resistance properties. Extremely hard deformation-resistant micro-grain cemented carbide substrate with exceptional wear resistance characteristics.

RM325C (M20-M30) - Use this Grade for medium machining of Stainless Steel (ISO M Materials). Double-Coated MT-CVD Grade with outstanding adhesion of Superthick TiCN and Ultra-Smooth TiN. Gradient-sintered tough cemented carbide substrate with excellent wear resistance - even at elevated cutting speeds. Optimized for Stainless Steel machining including light interruptions.

RM325P (M20-M30) - TiAIN Nano-Structure PVD Coated grade on Superfine Sub-Micron carbide substrate - exceptional resistance to thermal and mechanical shock with very good wear resistance. Excellent Choice for Stainless Steel applications at moderate cutting speeds, continuous cutting to moderate interruptions.

RK315C (K10-K20) - First Choice for Finishing Applications in Cast Iron (ISO K Materials). Double-Coated MT-CVD Grade, Thick TiCN and Superthick Al2O3 on gradient-sintered high performance cemented carbide substrate. Unique “post-coating treatment” provides smoother cutting zone interface for extremely high wear resistance. Performs very well in continuous cutting conditions and stable set-ups.
