because it is a residential treatment center focused on helping teens ages 12-18.
• The Academy accepts students with personality disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other behavioral issues.
2. Part Boarding School• Logan River Academy is also a type of boarding school
seeing as they house their students in dorms on campus. Female students live in a separate house.
• Students have access to licensed therapists and medical professionals at all times.

Spectrum (Asperger’s, NLD, PDD)• Foundations: A Principle-Based Program for Neurotypical

4. Fun Activities• Students may participate in seasonal sports such as:

5. Outdoor Learning • Students go on outdoor learning adventures (part of
experiential learning) to build self-confidence, learn leadership skills, and gain experiences that can be used as metaphors in therapy sessions.
• Outdoor adventures may include whitewater rafting, hiking, skiing, or canoeing depending on the season.
6. Licensed Staff• Each member of the Logan River Academy staff is
licensed and certified in their respective fields.• Staff members are chosen based on experience and
dedication to student needs.
7. Accredited School• Logan River Academy is
accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Committee (NWAC)
• All classes offered fulfill Utah State credit requirements for graduation.
