A UNIQUE AND DIVERSE RANGE

SIX SECTORS THAT ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE INDUSTRY OF THE FUTURE

The product/process design This covers all the tools and engineering services involved in the design of parts, finished products, processes, production lines... a design that incorporates aspects of modeling, simulation, virtualization, prototyping, etc.

The management and control of the production system There are three performance criteria: the control system, traceability, and the management of physical flows. This section includes equipment like PCs and PLCs, along with MES and ERP.

Manufacturing Operations This is the third characteristic of the production system and has two performance criteria: accuracy and flexibility. The latest developments include additive manufacturing, cobotics, etc.

Services related to the production system This includes integration, installation, maintenance services…

Digital technologies The Cloud and BigData are causing the shift in the Manufacturing sector.

Work Organization This is the final aspect that affects the production system. The human element is included in this field, with work-aid tools like augmented reality or cobotics and training in new technologies, which is essential for effective integration.

Following the success of its 2016

edition, SMART INDUSTRIES will take

part in the large manufacturing

gathering that is planned for the

first half of 2018 in France, alongside

INDUSTRIE Paris (Production

Technologies), Midest (Subcontracting),

and Tolexpo.

SMART INDUSTRIES brings together

300 exhibitors who can support

VSEs, SMEs, and mid-cap companies

in their transition to Industry 4.0.

Take advantage of this wonderful

showcase to grow your business!

TOP-NOTCH CONFERENCES

SMART INDUSTRIES offers a schedule of cutting-edge conferences on key themes to help you move toward the industry of the future: our round tables, panels, and testimonial sessions are hosted by well-known manufacturers and politicians.

In 2016, the 2,776 attendees heard from Christophe Sirugue, Secretary of State for Industry, Jérôme Chartier, 1st Vice-President of the Île-de-France Region in charge of Jobs and the Economy, Stéphane Lannuzel, Chief Digital Operations at L’Oréal, and Pascal Laurin, Industry 4.0 expert from Bosch.

2018, A NEW CHALLENGE

The 2016 edition showed the advantages of a large national exhibition, where SMART INDUSTRIES can focus on the 4.0 digital aspect:

GÉNÉRATION SMART INDUSTRIES (SMART INDUSTRIES GENERATION)

Around a hundred students from 2-year technical courses, 2-year sandwich courses, and engineering schools work in groups on the industry of the future. Expert exhibitors can help students solve their problems. The competition concludes with prizes distributed at an awards ceremony – e.g., internships, software training, factory visits. This provides a great overview of the field.

FOCUS ON EXPERIENCE

The 2018 edition will be an opportunity to draw on genuine REX (French acronym for Feedback) from France and around the world. Visitors will live a new Experience. Part of the conference area will be dedicated to “Sharing Experiences.” World-Class Experts (from France and abroad) will be there to share their Experience. The speakers will remain available for a few hours to interact directly with attendees.

Cybersecurity and Digital Twins are some of the themes of the Industry of the Future that are back in the limelight. We aim to provide visitors with a better understanding of them. They will be able to register for Expert Meetings. Various professionals will take turns presenting Solutions and Experiences.
