Mercedes Benz new generation C-Class plays an important strategic role not only because the new model receives a lot of praise, but also gave

confidence to the company to take a much more aggres-sive market position. M-Benz is preparing to produce in

different countries in order to supply to major markets in the shortest possible time.

Since this February and May, the production of C-Class has begun in Germany and South Africa respec-tively, and that only marks the beginning of the global strategic layout. Just in June 2014, the company has announced the production in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

In fact, C-Class is the first M-Benz sedan be-ing produced in the U.S. Since the completion in 1995 and beginning of production in 1997, the factory in Tuscaloosa has only been mak-ing the M-Class, GL-Class and R-Class models. However, in order to meet the huge demand in North America, M-Benz brought in trained staff from the factory in Bremen, Germany, to provide extra support and ensure that Tuscalo-osa factory can produce the C-Class models at a consistent level.

As for the Tuscaloosa factory, not only because it is a relatively new factory with modern production technology, it also bears the responsibility of supply-ing to the most important market, North American. In addition, on top of the current production of C-Class,

M-Benz will put in a new, high demand sports car model that is similar to BMW Cross-over X6 in 2015.  By then, the Tuscaloosa factory will be producing five different Mercedes Benz mod-els.  No doubt

the Mercedes Benz management has high expectation for this factory.

Formula Advanced Grand Prix, also known as FA, took the place of F1 and became the best racing compe-tition of the twenty-first century. The young racer Cloud Long became the main racer of the Rising Dragon race team and participated in the 20th FA Grand Prix. He wished to chase dream that was also his father’s, winning the world champion was his ultimate goal, for that, he challenged the world’s best racers.

龍追雲開著龍槍來到了頒獎臺前，他把賽車停到了第一名的位置，他脫下了頭盔和防火頭套，站在車身上向在旁邊的記者揮

手。之後安東尼奧也開著泰坦來了，在歐洲被稱為天才的他，自小從小型賽車開始，就從未嘗過一敗，今天阿隆索終於嘗到了敗北的滋味。安東尼奧脫下了頭盔，他走向了龍追雲，向龍追雲伸出了右手：“你叫龍追雲是吧？你是個很厲害的車手。”

The Spaniard had been regarded as a genius in Eu-rope, and was undefeated in the various grades of karting competition. Today, he felt the bitter taste of defeat for the first time. He removed his helmet and approached Cloud Long, saying, “Are you called Cloud Long? You are an outstanding driver.”

“As are you,” replied Cloud, grasping Antonio‘s hand tightly. “You almost beat me. Are you Alonso?”

be their rivals for life. The image of their shaking hands was captured by the reporters. Nobody paid attention to the third place driver, who had been lapped, as he eventually drove up beside the other two cars. Cloud Long and Alonso took time to discuss their future plans while they prepared themselves for the presentation ceremony. Antonio intended to participate in the Euro-pean F3 Championship for a few years to continue his development, before joining the Roten Riesen team as a Formula Advanced driver for the FA Grand Prix. Cloud Long favored taking the route that his father took, honing his skills in the Japanese Super GT Championship before joining the Rising Dragon team in three years time. The two men agreed an appointment to compete with each other in the FA Grand Prix in several years time.

Going to the presentation ceremony, Cloud Long stood in the center of the podium, and was awarded the crystal trophy. He faced the camera, and raised the trophy above his head.

“昨天總公司非得要我去一趟法國分公司，我今天早上才趕回來，公路上又因為出了意外大塞車，我也沒有辦法。”周奉孝說著戴上了耳機，把自己的手提電腦連到了車隊的即時監控系統上開始工作。

這時比賽已經到了最後的十圈，龍破天已經領先第2名的高文20秒有多了，這次的冠軍已經是他的囊中物了。綠色的龍槍改在大直路上以極速向前沖去，龍破天並沒有打算在這十圈保守地開，而是要以打破最快圈速為目標，以最快的速度向前沖去。

“在剛才的路段，飛龍的路段時間比起最快圈速要快0.8秒啊。”主持人看到資料後說道，“這次的比賽已經是他的囊中之物了，但飛龍似乎還是要以全力去跑著剩下的十圈。”

“如果在這裏放松下來的車手就只能是二流車手了，在任何情況下都要盡全力，不留下遺憾的比賽。”嘉賓插嘴道，“我認為這樣才是一個一流車手應有的態度。”

“啊！真是一大悲劇啊！高文的泰坦EX和蓋克蘭的獨角獸Type-S相撞了！”

By now, the race had reached the last ten laps. P. Long was in the lead, twenty seconds ahead of Wace Gawain, the British Roten Riesen driver. It was impos-sible that P. Long would be beaten; his green D-Lanc-er Type-X was zooming at its top speed down the straight. P. Long did not intend to drive conservatively for the remaining ten laps, but wanted to set the record for the circuit.

“He bettered the fastest lap speed by 0.8 seconds on that section!” noted the commentator after being handed the information. “Even though he has the race in the bag, P. Long is still not easing up over these last laps.”

“Possibly he feels that it is a sign of weakness for a racing driver to relax. A driver should push in every circumstance, without regret,” interrupted the summa-rizer. “I think that this is the right attitude for every top class driver.”

Am I in the place with the top Kung Fu masters?” The Doctor had the call of nature later. There were walls on both sides of the pond. To make his way to the bathroom on the other side of the pond he needed to walk around the walls and it would take him at least 10 minutes. To go back to the institute would take him even longer. What should he do?

The Doctor still did not want to ask the two directors. After he held it for half day he finally got up and walked onto the water. “What a bachelor can do, as a doctor I believe I can do it too.” He said to himself. With a splash the Doctor fell into the water. The two directors dragged him out and asked why he wanted to do that. He then asked them why they could walk across the water. Two directors looked at each other and laughed. “There are two rows of wooden posts in the pond. It rained for two days and the water just covers them up. We know the locations of those posts so we can step on them and walk across the pond. Why didn’t you just ask?”

Once upon a time, there were two starving men who got two gifts from an old man. The two gifts were a fish-ing rod and a big basket of live fish. The Chinese categorized amber based on colors and materials. The common varieties are gold amber, blood amber, insect amber, fragrant amber, spirited amber, stone amber, flower amber, water amber, bright amber, wax amber, red pine amber etc. Gold amber has the highest quality among all kinds of amber.

The value of amber is determined by the clarity of insects contained as well as the size, shape and color of

the amber. Amber with clear and sharp colors and few impurities are considered as valuable. The best colors are green and translucent red. The most valuable kind of amber is the one with insects in them. It is known as the “hidden gem” of an amber. The clearer and bigger a piece of amber is, the higher the value.   The texture of natural amber is very light. It can float

on saturated salt water. If you burn a piece of natural amber or apply friction to it, it will exude unique fra-grance.  You won’t find two pieces of amber that are exactly the same in the world.

Man-made ambers are not as clear and bright as natural ambers. The closest man made am-ber to natural amber is the “suppressed amber”, which is a piece of amber produced by heating and melting small pieces of amber together. Recently, a picture showing warning signs of different health conditions went viral on the Internet. Many people start to look into the relationship between their nails and health. For example, horizontal stripes on nails can be a sign of long-term poor digestion while verti-cal lines may represent neurasthenia. If the crescent-shaped junction between nails and skin disappear, it indicates the person may naturally have a “cold body” and can be tired easily.

While a person’s fingernails can indicate some underlying health conditions, Chinese med-icine experts say some information on the Internet is inaccurate. In general, from the perspective of Chinese medicine, there is a certain relationship between blood flow and nails. If a person has adequate blood flow in his or her liver, he or she should have healthy nails that are shiny, slightly pink and strong. In other words, if there is not enough blood flow in a person’s liver, his or her nails will be brittle, thin, dull and palm.

Here is the breakdown of six health condi-tions:

1)  Pale nails – a sign of anemiaWhiter the nail color is not necessarily better. In fact, it can be a sign of anemia. When the body has insufficient hemoglobin, the microvascular underneath nails will be whiter. In particular, if the crescent-shaped junction between nails and skin appear to be pale and slightly dent, it can indicate iron deficiency anemia.

醫師據此回應，指甲確實可看出部份病症，但卻不是網路謠傳的圖片說法，計可歸類6項。

中醫認為指甲健康與血流有關。若肝臟血液充足，指甲就會紅潤有光澤且堅硬，如果肝血不足，指甲就可能變薄易裂、失去光澤。另外，若顏色太白、粗糙、佈滿深色紋路、縱向細紋、好幾隻指甲上都出現橫紋、或是指甲中央隆起等，都代表身體出現狀況，可尋求醫師協助。

4) Tiny vertical lines on nails - a sign of bleeding disorders Vertical thin line appears on the bottom part of the nails on index, middle and ring fingers can be a sign of internal bleeding. Red or brown lines can indicate damage to the capillaries below nails. This is common if nails are damage, infected or suffer from psoriasis disease. However, in the case of serious bleeding, area with red lines will expand and this shows a tendency of early bleeding disorders.

5) Stripes on most nails - a sign of growth inhibition If stripes appear on most of the nails and of relatively symmetry, they are an indication of growth inhibition of the nails such as serious nails infections, major surgery, prolonged physical weakness or strong emotional tension or depression. These lines will gradually move toward the end of the nails as they continue to grow.

6) Protruding center - a sign of cardiopulmonary disease If the center of the nails protrudes into an arc or club shape, this is a sign of inadequate oxygen supply to the nails. This is commonly caused by serious lungs and heart diseases, such as heart failure, coronary artery obstruc-tion, emphysema, chronic obstructivem, and pulmonary disease.

3. 深色紋路─內分泌疾病指甲上有深色的紋路可能是內分泌疾病如，甲狀腺機能亢進、腎上腺素缺乏或庫興氏病的患者，造成黑色素累積過多所致，此外，也有可能是皮膚上的黑色素腫瘤早期徵兆，應該要趕快就醫。

4. 縱向細線─出血性疾病指甲下方出現縱向的細線，好發於指甲末端及內側三根手指，若是紅色或褐色，表示指板下表皮層的微血管破裂損傷。常見於指甲受到外傷、感染或乾癬症。但若出血的情況嚴重，紅色面積不斷變大或條紋不斷增加，也有可能是出血性疾病的早期傾向。

5. 多數指甲有橫紋─生長抑制若指甲上凹陷的橫紋出現在多數的指甲上，而且相對位置對稱，這些線條會隨著指甲的持續生長逐漸往末端移動。它們通常意味著某一段時期指甲的生長受到抑制，例如經歷嚴重的疾病，例如全身性的感染，重大手術，身體長時間虛弱，強烈的情緒緊繃或憂鬱。

The purpose of the Naturalization tests is to verify proficiency in the English Language and knowledge of U.S. Civics (i.e. American govern-

ment and American history). The English Language test has three compo-

nents: reading, writing, and speaking.  The USCIS in-terviewer will judge your ability to speak English by the responses you give to the questions that you are asked during the interview.  For the reading portion, you must read 1 out of 3 sentences correctly.  For the writing test, you must write 1 out of 3 sentences correctly.

There are 2 exceptions to the English Language test. They are:

1.      The 50/20 Exception.  Age 50 or older at the time of filing for naturalization and have lived as a green card holder in the United States for 20 years;

2.      The 55/15 Exception.  Age 55 or older at the time of filing for naturalization and have lived as a permanent resident in the United States for 15 years.

Even if you qualify for the “50/20” or “55/15” English language exceptions listed above, you must still take the civics test.  You may be permitted to take the civics test in your native language, but only if your understanding of spoken English is insuffi-cient to conduct a valid examination in English.  If you take the test in your native language, you must bring an interpreter with you to your interview.  Your interpreter must be fluent in both English and your native language. 

To judge your knowledge of U.S. Civics there are 100 civics questions on the naturalization test. These questions and answers are available at the USCIS office or from your immigration attorney.  Be aware that some answers may change before your inter-view.  For example there may be change of govern-ment officials due to elections or appointments.  As you study for the test, make sure that you know the most current answers to these questions.  If you are asked to name a government official, e.g. president, senator, representative, etc., answer with the name of the official who is serving at the time of your in-

The following are the types of questions that you may be asked

asked up to 10 questions.  You will not be asked 100 questions but you must correctly answer at 6 of the 10 questions. Once you have answered 6 questions correctly, you have passed the civics test and the interviewer will stop asking civics questions.  It is very important that you study all 100 questions before your interview.  You never know which of the 100 questions the interviewer will ask you.  If you don’t correctly an-swer 6 of the 10 questions that you are asked, you will fail your Naturalization interview.  If you are age 65 or older and have been a permanent resident for at least 20 years at the time of filing for naturalization, you will be given special consideration regarding the civics requirement.

If you have a physical or developmental disabil-ity or a mental impairment, you may be eligible for an exception to the English and civics naturalization requirements.  You must request this exception by sub-mitting a form for a Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions. This form must be completed by a licensed medical or osteopathic doctor, or licensed clinical psy-chologist and approved before your interview. 

Most immigration attorneys will prepare you for your interview.  They will tell you what to expect, how to act, what to bring, what not to bring, etc.  They will give you practice interviews and tests to give you an experience of the interview process and to allow you to be as comfortable as possible when you attend your interview.  Upon your request they will attend the interview with you but they can’t help you answer the questions.  The best thing you can do to improve your chances of successfully passing your Naturalization tests is be prepared.

今年的世界杯可謂是十分精彩，先是各種意想不到的

戰況，又有各路球星大展身手。最後德國戰車強勢獲得冠軍，可謂是實至名歸。阿根廷雖敗永榮，美斯獲得金球獎留個紀念，就是他本人領獎時表情有如死了老爸。上屆冠軍西班牙小組賽出局十分杯具，但誰又想到其實最杯具的是東道主巴西呢？所有的焦點就讓我來一一分析。

先來說說德國戰車，今屆德國表現大勇，在決賽加時113分鐘，由葛斯一球定江山，為今屆世界杯劃上句號。德國在連續四屆世界杯都打入四強，終於在本屆獲得了久違的世界杯冠軍，這也是德國史上第四次奪冠。德國能夠獲得冠軍並非僥倖，首先德國之所以可以連續四屆四次打進四強，是因為德國本土十分

重視青訓來培養有實力的年輕球員，當老將退役後，馬上就可以找到出色的小將代替。德國在本屆世界杯的表現也是十分出色，在戰術上除了把擅長的快攻打得更加出色外，也參照西班牙的戰術，更加注重了提高控球率。采用了無鋒陣的德國雖然看上去沒有人在打前鋒，但其實人人都可以是前鋒，在控住球時一旦發現對方防守的破綻，就馬上發動快攻乘虛而入，一擊必殺。

The FIFA World Cup Brazil this year has been excep-tionally good. It had many unexpected twists and turns, and displayed the skills of the leading soccer

players. Finally, the strong and powerful German team deservedly won the title. Argentina should be proud, even though they were defeated in the final, with its captain Lionel Messi being awarded the Golden Ball for his outstanding display. Even as Messi accepted the prize, he himself looked as though his father were dead. The Spanish soccer team, who had won the previous tournament, was surprisingly knocked out in the group stages. But who would have imagined that the Brazil-ians, who were hosting the competition, would suffer the worst fate of all. Let me analyze all the talking points in turn.

First, I will discuss the German team. The Germans performed at an unvaryingly high standard in this World Cup. After 113 minutes in the final, during extra time, one shot from Mario Götze proved decisive and won the tournament for his team. Germany has reached the semi-finals for the past four contests, and was final-ly rewarded with its fourth World Cup triumph. The Germans did not win by luck. Their consistency over the past four competitions was due to the importance given to their youth academy where they train their young and skillful players. Whenever an older player retired, there was always an outstanding youngster to replace him. The German performance during this tournament was based on a fast counter-attacking style combined with an emphasis on the possession football recently associated with the Spanish game. The Germans also gave their attacking players a free role, so although at times it looked as though they didn’t have a striker, in practice their whole team could threaten the goal. While controlling the ball, as soon as they found a gap in their opponents’ defense, they could launch a quick attack to penetrate the opposition’s back line while they were off-guard, ending the game with a single lethal shot.

Now, let us discuss Brazil, whose team contributed to the biggest shock of the World Cup. Brazil suffered a disastrous 1:7 defeat to the powerfully aggressive Germans in the semi-finals, followed by a shameful 0:3 defeat by the Netherlands in the Third Place play-off. Brazil conceded ten goals in the last two matches: the worst result in their history. This was not actually so much of a surprise: their team was of unusually poor quality (by their standards), and lacked any truly outstanding player. They looked like a flock of sheep

我們再來說說各路球星大展身手。首先令人印象最深刻的莫過於本屆金靴得主占士洛迪古斯，這位哥倫比亞小將在五場比賽中射入六球，表現十分出色。金手套獎當然就落在德國門將扭亞手上，他不單只是門將，也是德國的第五個後衛，最令我眼前一亮的莫過於在對法國那場比賽最後單手瀟灑地收本澤馬皮那一幕。而德國老將高路斯射入世界杯決賽周第16球，超越了大哨朗拿度15球的記錄。

而有一些球星也各出必殺令人無法忘記。就如葡萄牙的比比要模仿施丹的鐵頭功，意大利馬治斯奧的不踩球式馬賽盤球，都換來了一張紅牌。但當中最強的必殺技要數烏拉圭神鋒蘇亞雷斯的猛獸利齒，他看准了球證沒有看到自己時向獵物露出了獠牙，在把獵物撕開後都沒有獲得紅牌。不單只球員，還有阿根廷教練沙比拿模仿黑客帝國中的後翻避子彈動作，雖然沒有成功，但也足夠令大家回味無窮。

In the group stage, they only beat Croatia because of biased refereeing which awarded a penalty to a Brazilian dive and failed to penalize Brazil’s own fouls. If that style of refereeing had been practiced in every match, then all the teams would have continually tricked their way into being awarded a constant stream of penalty kicks. In the round of 16, Brazil advanced due to the fortune inspired by its home support, which repeatedly willed the Chil-ean’s shots onto the goalpost and crossbar during the climax of the match. But because they progressed so far in the competition, that made their embarrassment against the Germans even more tragic. Brazil’s line up looked like boys against men compared to the German team’s powerfully confident performance, so they were never likely to win that contest.

Let us discuss the various soccer stars who showed their capabilities. Firstly, there was nothing better or more impressive than seeing James David Rodríguez Rubio winning the Golden Boot Award for scoring the most goals. The young Columbian star scored six goals in five matches with an outstanding performance. The Golden Glove award for the best goalkeeper went to the German Manuel Neuer, who not only played as a goal-keeper but also a sweeper behind the German defense. To me, his most impressive moment was when he made a startling one-handed save from the French striker Karim Benzema towards the end of their quarter final. The experienced German, Miroslav Joseph Klose, be-came the leading scorer in the history of the World Cup when he scored his sixteenth goal over the course of the four competitions he played in, beating the fifteen scored by the former Brazilian great Ronaldo.

There were also some memorable individual mo-ments displaying some less savory skills of the modern soccer players: the Portuguese Pepe’s headbutt – remi-niscent of the former great Frenchman Zinedine Zidane – that led to his red card against the Germans; the Ital-ian Claudio Marchisio showed off his brilliant footwork and control to earn a red card – he was just unfortunate that nobody told him he should be kicking the ball rather than the opposing player. The exceptionally skill-ful Uruguayan, Luis Suarez, who, once again, showed that he is as good with his teeth as he is with the ball; baring his tusks to bite his prey while the referee was distracted, and avoided being sent off. Not only the players but the coaches were involved: the Argentinian coach, Alejandro Sabella, tried to match the ‘bullet time’ action seen in the movie, `The Matrix’, and even though he could not lean back as far as Keanu Reeves without losing his balance, it was still a memorable moment.

The victory of the German team brought this year’s FIFA World Cup to a close, and I congratulate Germany for winning their fourth championship.

Runaway greenhouse effect which eventually led to climate change has been a growing threat for Earth. The gradual melting of the Arctic’s permafrost re-

leases more carbon dioxide as well as methane, causing the Earth continues to warm.

Like raging flames and boiling water, high tempera-ture has the power to melt lead. Once we lose control of the greenhouse effect, the atmosphere will be filled with thick layers of carbon dioxide which can block the flow of energy. Also known as CO2, carbon dioxide can create a suffocating blanket that traps the heat on Earth and leads to inevitable disasters.

On top of the terrifying forces of nature, hu-man’s destruction to the environment has worsened the situation. In fact, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere after the Industrial Revolution is 40 percent higher than before. Due to the com-bustion of coal, oil and gas, our civilization emits more carbon dioxide than the Earth can absorb. The higher concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmo-sphere, the warmer the Earth will get.

If we don’t change our lifestyle to an eco-friendly and responsible manner, carbon emission will contin-

ue to increase. Our children, grandchildren and future generations will face a traumatic series of super heat waves, record droughts, rise of sea level, and eventually mass extinction of species. Into the 21st century, sci-entists estimate that climate change will become more unpredictable.

Being a member of a mafia is almost every boy’s dream at one point. Just like when Hong Kong film series, Young and Dangerous, was popular

in the 90s, many teenagers have daydreamed to join a triad. In North America and Europe, when speaking of action-adventure game, many people will think of Grand Theft Auto. In Asia, however, an equally famous production is Sega’s Yakuza.

The stories of the Yakuza series revolves around three elements: Tojo clan, the biggest crime organi-zation in Kanto; the voluptuous Kamurocho; and the main character Kazuma Kiryu who holds the “Hall of Fame” in the underworld society. The story begins when Kazuma goes to jail for his best friend for killing the leader of the Tojo clan. Fast forward 10 years to the time when Kazuma gets out of jail, carrying the bad reputation of killing a clan leader, he is being hunt down by the clan and ironically his best friend who has turned to his enemy. Kazuma also runs into the daughter of his ex-girlfriend Haruka. Throughout the series, Kazuma is involved with intense and dramatic incidents that come after him.  

The stories of the Yukuza series are very exciting. But what makes the series topnotch is the accurate representation of Japanese underworld and the

sophisticated meaning be-hind. It makes you feel like you are watching an action movie rather than only playing a game. The essence of the game is brought out through Kazuma. In the first three generations of Yakuza, players

如龍系列的故事可以說是十分精彩，把日本黑道的鬥爭描寫得十分到位，劇情十分有深度。在遊戲過程中故事的精彩過場動畫穿插而過，就讓你感覺是在觀看一部黑道大片。桐生一馬作為貫穿全系列的靈魂人物，第一至三代以桐生一馬的主視點推進劇情。而在第四代和第五代，故事采用了多個主角，遊戲中玩家會通過切換主角來推進故事的發展，劇情這時就會以不同人物的視角去描寫，令故事更加精彩。很多人喜歡玩遊戲跳過劇情，但如果你玩如龍時跳過劇情，那你就是糟蹋了這款遊戲。

can play as Kazuma to follow the plot. In the fourth and fifth generations, players can also play as sub-characters to get new perspectives of the storyline. This makes the plot even more interactive and exciting than before. However, if you are one of those people that like to skip the storyline, you are simply ruining the game.

The most important element of any action-adven-ture game is the fighting scenes. Unlike Grand Theft Auto which focuses on weapons, the Yukuza series incorporates unique, unarmed street brawl fights, which is the main selling point of the game.  On top of fighting the enemies with good kung fu, players can also use anything in the surroundings as weapons, such as beer bottles, folding stools, bicycles and even street signs. Since the fourth generation, players can play as different characters, which each has very unique fighting style. For example, Akiyama who is good at quick kickboxing moves; Saejima who has enormous strength and likes to pick up motorcycles as weapons; a bad cop who catch-es enemies with fist fighting; and a former professional baseball player who specializes in weapons.

Other than the exciting plot and vivid combat scenes, the Yakuza series also incorporate a high degree of freedom for players. While most battles happen on the alleys of Kamurocho, players can also go to other venues such as shops, restaurants, illegal casinos with slot machines, pinball machines and mahjong, bowling alleys, arcade halls, karaoke places, golf courses and oth-er leisure entertainment. The famous nightclub where starring well-known Japanese models and actresses is definitely the highlight of all. Such Japanese beauties include Kaede Matsushima, RIO, Ishin Konno etc.  After a couple visits to the nightclub, players can go on dates with all the beautiful ladies, which of course makes this game very attractive for men.  

With exquisite storyline, intense fighting scenes and the accompaniment of exotic women, the Yakuza series is definitely designed for adult players. In fact, it has won the heart of many players and became one of Sega’s signature works.
